What glue did you use for the carpet on the nissan fairlady? I've only seen watered down white glue, yours looked clear

Yesterday when I was in a local antique store. I found a complete AMT 1963 Chevy Corvette model. Someone had painted only half of the body. They didn't use any primer they just painted it with a brush. Now I know how to fix the problem.

I just stripped some enamel off a model with Easy Off Oven Cleaner. It took it right back to the plastic. No harm.

It worked for me didn't primer the car, but used testor's enamel with lacquer thinner, after a few hours most of it off.

This takes me back to my childhood when me and a buddy Rich commadeered the pingpong table in my basement and turned it into a full car building station. Those were the days. Not so much anymore as I cannot see paying $32.00 per kit now.
