Loved this portrayal of Rhonda and Dave! I played Rhonda in my theatre's production and this really helped me prepare and get ideas for my interpretation of her!
Definitely my favorite scene, and I'm so glad to be playing Dave in my school's production of it. It's funny because the girl playing Rhonda is one of my best friends and she's about 4'9", while I'm around 6', and yet she's supposed to be the tough one haha

In our school, they wanted to censor the part where they take off their clothes. Our actors did it anyways, and now they're banned from theatre for the rest of high school because some rich parents got offended. Yay censorship :(
We're doing this play for our high school fall production and no one in our drama class had ever seen this scene before, so when our drama teacher showed us this video in class we all pretty much had a heart attack at the end when we realized what we would have to be doing. Since it's pretty suggestive, the teacher decided to alter the scene a bit so it's less inappropriate for school.
I'm playing Rhonda in my advanced drama class. We altered this a bit so it's a little more innocent, but my friend who plays Dave actually twirls and dances with his painting. I made him dance with it for 2 minutes and people couldn't stop laughing. But he wasn't too happy with me. Our kisses are more innocent like kissing my hand and working his way up, but this gave me a few ideas, I don't think he'll be ready for what I'm about to do tomorrow
My high school is doing this play in the spring and i was just casted as Dave. Ironically the girl casted as Rhonda has been my sibling in the past two plays we have had and we have a sibling type relationship, no feelings beyond that, so this is probably going to be the funniest scene i have ever performed if we pull it off without laughing on stage:)
