Nice quick overview. When I first saw CFMoto, I thought I would never buy a Chinese manufactured motorcycle. Thing is, they have been making engines and parts for many European and Japanese bikes for years. Kind of like a lot of things we use in our day to day lifes. It truly is a global market. This gives everyone such a variety of bikes to chose from and keeps the major manufacturers on their toes. Keeps prices from going through the roof too. CFMoto is offering good bikes with excellent name brand parts on their motorcycles at a very competitive price. I would like to see where they are headed to in the future with sport bikes and a supposed liter bike to compete in MotoGP of all places. Glad you did a review!
NIce vid Scout - As per usual... And a nice bike! Thing is deffo dripping in kit! I seem to remember you doing a "first ride" on this bike a while back... At a test day.. Although I may very well be mistaken on that front...
Yessir I sure did, I know immediately after the first ride I was buying on. It’s my main vehicle now I don’t even have a car anymore I have it to my son lol
As always a great video Scout, it's always very cool for me to enjoy the scenery when you go for a ride🤩. A great review and very interesting👌. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday mate✌. Ride on🤙
Great video just do me a favor. When you got out on that adventure Wear some decent footwear instead of sneakers. You got gloves on but sneakers won't save shit. Just saying I'll buy them if ya need me to. I wanna see more vids.
Scout, great review. Over the weekend I test rode the Ibex 800 T…. Great bike, it is everything you said it is. My test bike had really abrupt throttle/fueling issues in first gear, it was a real turn off. I spoke to the sales manager, and as of now CF Moto has no current fix for it. Bummer I would’ve bought the bike if it didn’t have the fueling issues…. i’ll give it another year, hopefully they work out the fueling issues/drivability issues in first gear. Then I will revisit the showroom for another test ride. In the meantime I will continue to ride my Suzuki DL 1000 with 140,000 miles of trouble free riding 👍👍😎😎
There is a simple fix for that here on youtube. Search for jerky throttle. Did it on mine and it worked out great. Over all i’m super happy with my ibex👌.
Love mine! I have noticed the cruise control issues… I do have to bump it up a few mph after it “settles in”. I’ve gotten use to the menu system with the heated grips but could be better! Mine with Leo Vince exhaust sounds sick!
Really nice review! I am considering buying a low km used one. How do you find the windshield? Any buffeting? Do you think you will change the screen? Cheers from New Zealand!😊
thank you I appreciate that, its decent for buffeting but not the best. i won't be changing the screen as its enough for me, but I will say my buddy rode it and he mentioned the buffeting. He didn't say it was terrible but did notice it. cheers and happy holidays
Yea, they are hard cases from harbor freight. The only difference is I cut into the left one so the bars go inside the box a little to make the box stick out even on both sides. The boxes are $60 each but with the discount you can get them for cheaper. Hope this helps
I really like those mirrors, those aren't stock are they? if not where did they come from? do you have a link for them? I'd like to learn more about them and see if they would be a good option for my bike.
@@ScoutsOut my first street bike was a 86 ninja 250 way different then 88 on and then 86 Gsxr 750 in totally stock condition but 2nd gear blew out eventually at 22k miles that bike was crazy. All the bikes pre 05 ish had unique characteristics now everything looks similar but performance is day and night new vs old.

Thanks man, I felt the same way. Having the competition is so needed in the industry

Any chance I could get more info on the sidecases and mounting I am not wanting to pay $1700 for the OEM and don't plan on using a top case.

sry it took so long to reply, I couldn't remember the name of them and I had thrown out the box. here they are amzn.to/3IxB5j0
only dont like the drive by wire on any bike why not steel cable
Yea, some are better than others but the QS up and down and Cruz control that can easily be equipped with drive by wire is nice
I want this bike but IDK if I want it to be my only bike 😂
Haha yea man, I like it a lot but not as my only either
Superb contents your video has,I inspired so,I give back Like to you 👍
Thank you!
Check all the bearings have grease especially the swingarm bearing.
Ok cool, have you had issues with yours?
@@ScoutsOut Not me but others found no grease.Cheers .Aiden .
Oh dang that’s ok thanks I’ll check mine
Congratulations on this bikes, my question for you is what kind of mpg are you getting?
Thanks Carlos, I’ve been getting high 40’s but I ride hard
@@ScoutsOut that is real good with the 5 gallon tank that is good range
@@ScoutsOut lots of fun in the Twisties then? I really like the 800S
Yea man it’s a lot of fun, it’s an all around fun bike to own
And just like that a bike I forgot you had LOL are you about 7 ish bikes now 😂🤙
Haha they got me again, I’m going to sell a few this year though it’s time to downgrade
@@ScoutsOut do a restoration rebuild on an old sport bike 85-05 range that’d be a cool side project then compare it to new bikes. 🤙🏼
