UPDATE: Sunway now offers this same tripod in a taller version called the T3240CSL and I believe it is perfect for anyone seeking a compact tripod for hunting or glassing in the mountains!
From looking at the pictures on Sunwayfotos website I couldn’t quite understand how that ballhead worked exactly. Thanks for your video showing that! That looks like the perfect back country tripod!
Make sure you scan through the comments on this video, seems I may be on to something 😉🤓
You can get the ball head separate for standard 75mm apexes. Sunwayfoto IB-40 or it's even more stable brother IB-65.
Heck ya good review! Love mine 👊have owned other high end tripods and the ball head with this one with qd mount is 👍👍
I got mine 5 days ago it’s build quality is high end. I bought mine on fox optic in a kit I set mine up on my passenger seat to shoot pigeons with my fx impact don’t bother with those cheap-o’s “bog I’m talking to you” spend a little more and get something sturdy and stout.
Where are you buying from?
I have this tripod as well it is great for a shooting tripod. I would say the one downside is that it doesn't have a pan feature for glassing. If they put a panning feature above the ball on the head this tripod would be amazing! It weighs 66.2oz on my scale.
friend I am looking for a tripod to shoot with my rifle, and I am undecided between the sunwayfoto T3240CSL and the innorel RT90C with N52 head, someone please clear me of the doubt. 😅😅😅.
what is the difference between the sunwayfoto T3240CS and the T4350CSL? just the height or is there another difference?
Thanks for a great reveiw. How does the Sunfoto tripod stand compared to the Revic hunter tripod? The price are about the same.
Been using this same tripod for over a year, only issues is that you need to locktite rubber pads on legs and single bolt on top otherwise it’s been 100%
It's a good one, I like 'em.
It sure is! Thank you for watching! I have watched all of your sunway reviews!
Does the lack of the pan head have any effect on in field performance? I have a lower end carbon tripod that I'm looking to upgrade and this one has caught my eye. My current one has a small ball head and small pan head. Just curious if you think the lack of pan head is a bad thing? Really like the locking lever for the Arca Swiss mount.
I believe that for almost all applications having a pan head isn’t needed after using multiple heads now that operate like this.
@@OwnTheHunt can you keep the lever semi-locked to add some tension but not fully locked?
@@brysonhollar yeah but I wouldn’t do it unless I was also kind of holding the rifle
@@OwnTheHunt for sure. I was just thinking when coyotes come in running or from a place you're not facing you have to pan around or move with the dog. I wondered if fumbling with that locking lever would pose an issue or if keeping it maybe under 50-75% tension would allow for some movement but not be floppy loose.
@@brysonhollar honestly it’s much easier than any ball head I’ve used!
Which Arca plate did you install on your rifle?
Just a cheap one I found on amazon. There are quite a few on the market now.
So how does this compare to your Innorel GT324C?
I think the innorel is a better tripod for the money. But this tripod is built with a higher quality for sure. This tripod is more stable as well. It doesn’t get quite tall enough for my liking but it looks like they have made this tripod in a taller offering now! Be sure to use my link in the description if you decide to go this route. Thank you!!!

Appreciate you!!!
539.00 in today's economy unless your corporate sponsors but the hunter on a budget not a good price
It’s definitely an affordable price for a quality carbon fiber tripod with a head all in one. Compared to several other brands out there it is much cheaper. I do have a review on the channel of a much more budget friendly option if that’s what your looking for let me know.
@@OwnTheHunt I have the bog death grip n I'm pleased with its performance but thank you anyway
@@jaymeyers950 that is definitely a solid tripod and works very well! I actually started with that tripod and reviewed that here on the channel as well.
So being 6 ft 3 this doesnt sound like the one for me. Just gonna have to keep looking.
Sadly no, are you in the market for a tripod?
@@OwnTheHunt yeah i bought a thermal from Logan a couple weeks ago after watching your video. I got it online and couldnt make the code work for your discount so u didnt get cred for it but ur video is how i ended up there. Ended up upgrading to the 35 instead of the 25 though so i havent gotten it yet amd thats when i talked w Logan a couple times to get the upgrade handled. Currently i have a tripod that does about 36 inches or something obviously meant for ground sitting but also have a cushy seat with bars in the back to keep it from flexingfor ground sitting but id like to get one like yours so i can go from kneeling to standing depending on cover situations. I use to watch Les Johnson i believe is his name hes a coyote hunter also but they were his signature tripod and it works great for what it is but something to allow standing would even change up my ground hog hunts. I dont like to miss so i try to steady my aim best as possible. Became really good at free hand over the years and timing the movement of the scope to the trigger pull but a standing tripod that would be epic. If u do that kind of thing maybe check out les johnsons and watch one of his videos to pop up the description to take u to the ground seat. Its worth the buy if u do any kind of ground sit actually has straps to keep the back from spreading to far and u falling over. Along with the bars in it keeps u sitting like u are in a padded chair on the ground.pretty cool.
@@heyjohnson5535 first, thank you so much for using Logan and purchasing a scope with him! Secondly, there are lots of great carbon fiber tripods on the market But they can be very expensive. Do some research and watch all the tripod videos on my channel and I’m sure you will end up with the right one!
@@OwnTheHunt thanks buddy appriciate the heads up. Ill def continue checking them out.
@@OwnTheHunt i ended up buying one of those u suggested. I believe its the one u use currently but might of been an old video and u replaced it by now not sure. But it was around 200 for the tripod and 50 for the mount off ebay. Thats the one i got. Hoping that it will work just fine thought to see if it had any form of spike on the bottom of the leg to stick in the dirt but if it doesnt ill just ziptie a couple 8 or 10 inch screws or a spike to the bottom of the legs. Or if it has caps on the ends of the tubes maybe drill a hole in the cap and seat a nail through it and glue in place. Guess that could give it some added height as well if i need it but to know it wont move foward if i push my shoulder against it to hard will be a plus.
Where to buy one?
How many lbs.?
