- A quick overview of a new tripod I have just bought myself. The Innorel RT75C is a Chinese produced carbon fibre tripod with a N44 Innroel Ballhead. At £219 from Amazon it was about the amount of money I wanted to pay. Here I give my 1st impressions of it.
Alan, great review video. I loved the time-lapse at the beginning. Happy Birthday. Thank you for sharing and stay safe.
Thanks Craig, As with all the stuff I do I tned to overshoot so much stuff and so the timelapse was just a way of speeing up the footage and incvluding me erecting the tripod quickly..lol. Thanks for the birthday wishes . Have a great weekend. atb Al
i've been considering this particular tripod. thanks for the video.
Hi Clavius, I have been using it for a couple of months now & it's all good. atb Alan
Great tripod review, thanks for sharing
Thanks Tony, much appreciated. Atb Al
Happy birthday Al. The tripod looks like an excellent gift, a nice balance between stability and portability. Best regards - Robin
Hi Robin, thanks for the birthday wishes. 🙂 Yes, Iam pleased with it thus far, lets hope it proves itself in the long term. Never done any sort of gear reviw - there are enough out there but not had chance to get out and make content these last few weeks - also there are not many videos on the Innorel tripod so thought I would give it a plug. Atb Al
Happy birthday mate, that tripod looks pretty slick mate. All the best and have weekend.
Evening Jeremy, thx for the birthday wishes. A little different from me I know but hopefully will be back on the landscapes soon .. hope ya well... atb Al
Belated birthday greetings Alan. Looks to be a solid tripod for the price, you can never have too many tripods! Lol!👍👍👍
Thanks Anthony, I was getting a bit short on the tripods - my lad has taken back one also so I guess I need a new one...lol. Nothing like a new bit of kit to boost the creative juices eh? 😂 atb Al
Looks like a good tripod mate! And a happy late Birthday
Hi Rauria, thanks for the birthday wishes - spent the day at the coast with the wife, lovely day it was too. Thnaks for the watch n comment. atb Al
That is a good review. I like the diagrams. I am looking for a small tripod not a large and I havn't got a scoobies so that was interesting to get me motivated to look.
Hi EJ, my "waffle" was helped greatly byt the real facts of those diagrams - as you know I ain't someone who does these sorts of things so I needed all the help I could get :) Thx for the watch.. atb Al
I just got one of these and they must have made some updates as mine also included a second center column about 5" long. I use this one when working from the car but if travelling well into the woods I have the smaller RT55C with the smaller ball head that packs even smaller.
Hi Anthony - apologies for not replying to this sooner. I had some correspoindence with Innorel afterwards and they seem to listen to recommendations & I was not suprised the short column was included in later purchases. Like you I now have the smaller model and take t on day hikes with me - overall I am very pleased. atb Alan
I found on mine it was the sturdiest with the small diameter lower legs retracted but with the center column extended a bit to gain the height lost be retracting the legs. With the lower legs extended and the center column retracted it had a bit more twist at the joint where all the legs came together due to the longer lever arm created but having longer legs.
Ye, know what you mean - I have layed about with the legs in different positions too.
Nice review Alan! Looks like a decent tripod! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!😊 Subbed😉
Thanks Peter, a few weeks down the line I still pleased with it and am probably looking at getting one of their smaller, even more lightweight tripods for my b roll footage. Thanks also for the sub, much appreciated. atb Al
@@thevalleywalker very welcome mate!😀
Let's hope it helps your photography Alan. I have a real cheapo thing. I've never taken photography seriously although I've thought of taking a course. It sounds a great product. Take care mate. Mark
Thanks Mark. I don't really take it seriously either to be honest... the tripod helps me personally because I have very shakey hands - my camera has built in stabilsation but looking at some of my hand held shots you would never know..lol - I need all the help I can get. :) atb Al
@@thevalleywalker A pleasure Alan. Maan you've done some great photography - you could have fooled me. Have a great weekend.
@@WyeExplorer Hope you have a good un too Mark :)
@@thevalleywalker I will Alan. Thanks mate.
Great review Al, empresses video and sound quality too, what you using for video and sound Al? Thank you
Hi Jon, trhanks for the watch mate. I filmed on my Panasonicn S5 and the sound was through to the S5 from Rode Wireless Go's To be honest I still not mastered the sound settings on that, I think I ste the gain too high... being a total novice iots sorta hit n miss... glad it sounded ok to you. Atb Al
Seems like decent value Alan. The Chinese can make good quality stuff if they choose to.
Morning Chris, my initial findingsa suggest they have done a decent job on this. atb Al
Nice review, actually I'm looking for a new tripod so maybe this one . Im couriuse about your rucksack, what is that ? Regards
Hi Dariusz, I can confirm that after a number of months the tripod isgoing strong and I have no issues with it. The rucksack I have is the Lowepro Flipside trek BP450 AW. regards Alan
Do u think this tripod can hold a 12-pound load with the legs at the 42 angle?
I would image just over 5kgs would be fine at 42 degrees
Please could you let me know how are you finding this tripod after an year now?? I am thinking of buying one. Thank you !
Hi Pryanka..... Overall I am reasonably pleased with it. The Tripod itself has performed well and I have had no problemns to speak of with it. However, the ballhead has caused jme a few problems. I mentioned in the review that it was a little stiff when adjusting it and this didn't get any better over time. Also the knob to tighten the arca swiss plate onto the tripod I have found fiddly and not great when tightening up - so much so that on two occasions I thought the camera was secured onto the head and moments later my camera fell off the onto the floor - the 1st tme I was on rocks and the camera took some damage which 6 months later I had to get fixed - the articulated flip screen became loose. Thank fully the 2nd time it was on soft grass and the camera was ok. I have lost some faith in the ballhead now and having tried someone elses ballhead recently I will be looking to replace it. I don't know if anyone else has experienced a similar problem with the ballhead - would be interested to find out. atb Alan
@@thevalleywalker Thanks for the kind reply. Apart from this do you have any other tripod in mind?? May i pls know which one you are considering as this tripod is not cheap. I am keeping my mind open. Thanks again !
i have the same backpack alan ;-) grand little thing that is
Hiya mate... yes the bag feels excellent. I was on a video call with Podgy and ordered it on the spurr of the moment just whilst chatting to him.. then 10 mins later he found it on a deal that saved me £35 so I got a real bargain. Hope ya doing well buddy - are we up n runing on the new channel yet? atb Al
nice legs. and the ones on the tripod aren't bad either...
Thanks Nick, lol. You can tell its warm when I get my legs out. 😂 Hopefully though the weather is changing for a few days.. its unbearable for me atm, I hate the heat. atb Al
