- Verety and I head out to Jump Up to drop some targeted dog baits after scouting for tracks to place them precisely. From there, we tackle a quick upgrade with a battery swap on a wireless unit and then check out a trailer for an upcoming shopping trip to Kalgoorlie. To wrap up the day, we visit Finders Keepers, a point we plan to decommission soon.
Join us for another busy day in the outback as we tackle pests, tech, and planning!
Dad teaching his daughter(s) the ways of our great Australian Outback. Fantastic to see !.
Cute little helper. It's good to see kids interested in helping on the farm. Excellent training done.

Morning Jack
Jack, i think in the old English saying, it's a "fell" swoop (@ 34:40 ish) not a "foul" swoop mate. I used to make the same mistake but, In your case, it could be different!? LMK
Just so your angelic daughter doesn't make the same grammatical error.
From UK with brotherly love and utmost respect.
Your daughter is awesome! I always enjoyed my kids helping me. They are all teenagers now, and my son is the only one who consistently helps (for money), haha. When you refer to "dogs," are they dingo's or wild dogs? Around here, we call coyotes dogs at times, too. 107F is hot (I'm American so I use banana's) it's about 15F here Sunday 8am and we are to get quite a bit of snow next 24 hours and temps are to plumit as a "polar vortex" 😂 moves in. We always called it a cold snap. Nowadays, we need catchy names for everything.
In Australia wild dog usually refers to a dingo/domestic dog hybrid of various mix. Could be recent crossbreed or could have occurred decades ago but pure dingoes are quite rare in most parts of Australia.
New research indicates more animals are purebreds than originally thought but the research is only on a small population sample and is funded by a dingo conservation group.
Hi Jack another great video. Suggest you give more consideration O.H.&S. Climbing up structures such as windmills without a safety harness is a BIG risk to you and a bad example to your kids. It is particularly dangerous given your isolated location. Taking your daughter to such an isolated location and then taking such a risk is also something worthy of a bit more thought. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY.
I am a wearing a harness, thank you for your support.
We didn't use the 360 camera footage that shows it very clearly.
G'day from Rocky Qld 👋
Hope you Guys didn't work 2hard over Christmas ?
All the Best for the Year Ahead 👌👍🏼
I se you use a go handle on your battery awesome 👍👍👍
What is the percentage of Goannas getting the bates.
Jack. What sun screen do you and Verety use? 👍🏴
Is the salty water due to the well being too deep or shallow?
What do they do at that camp?
Get some Phosdrin for target baiting.
how many watering points do you have now ?
Keep your eye open for your numberplate....
Hi mate just wanted to no do you have yabbies on your property be a good video catch and cook
Unfortunately no yabbies 😭
What happened too Danny see he not around no more ..maybe I missed it
Do your dogs run in packs or are the solitary hunters?
They'll often work in pairs, and bigger packs when younger.
@jack_out_the_back we have coyotes and wolves that tent to run in small groups here in New Brunswick, Canada
24.36 she licked up a fly.. lol
What a clever girl you have
When you are that high , you should be shouting _ 'I can see the pub from here' - Lol,,,
Make sure you harness up man before climbing a high structure. Cant take safety for granted.
ya might get better life out of your gear and batteries if you paint your boxes white or use white powdercoated boxes, it will reduce the temperature inside.
I guess you ended the live stream??
I'm happy to give you a a
Sub at 100.00au per a. But only to you. No Google no anybody to take their cut. Will only deal with you Jas direct.
Wouldn't want to Fall down from up There
Let her do the talking next time just be her camera 📸 guy😂😂
I don’t understand why if you’re not running many sheep there why you’d shoot dingoes, particularly if you have feral issues.
I guess you have never seen a half dead calf with a dog hanging off it.
Would it not be beneficial to keep the dogs? Wont they help clean up the camel carcass,s and not attack the young cows due to being well fed?
😂😂 it’s not Disney. They may well kill calves when dead camels are right there. Plus they stress the cattle just being around
Dogs 🐕 cats 🐈 camel 🐪 😢 rabbits? You seem to have so many problems 😢
Foxes, cane toads, horses, goats & donkeys don’t complete the list of introduced species!
@@davidpearson8232😢
Its called farming , problems are endless .
…and politicians.
Sardines are apparently good at attracting dogs, might just be an old wives tail. I don’t know for sure one way or the other. Best of luck though!
You guys have abundant resources out there. Especially sunshine. Love your stuff. 🙏🙏
