How early did U get there to get into the pit just have a rough idea for next Saturday? Especially as it's a Saturday and if the weather is nice like it was for yours
Honestly it totally depends on the venue, on the Thursday I was queuing from around 1pm but they only had two gates open then, on the Saturday they pretty much had all the gates open and I got really lucky to turn up just as a new que was starting up.

Gates opened at 4pm
Personally, I queued from 2pm and easily got into the front pit, I imagine you could turn up for 3 and still make it in though
