Hey there, fellow foodies! 🍔🍝 Just had to jump in and share my thoughts on Jollibee, coming all the way from Serbia! 🇷🇸 So, about half a year ago, I visited the Philippines with my awesome Filipina wife, and you bet we hit up Jollibee! 🇵🇭 And let me tell you, it's not just a meal - it's an experience! First off, gotta give props to @camizzllex for pointing out that the gravy is essential. Seriously, it's like the missing piece of the puzzle. I mean, what's better than that rich, comforting gravy to balance out the flavors? And, oh boy, those patties - they give off this "Salisbury Steak" vibe that's just unique and delightful. And let's not forget the rice - I get that some folks might find it unusual, but as an Asian cuisine enthusiast, I totally get it! 🍚 Rice is a staple in many cultures, and here it's combined with burgers and mushrooms, creating a fusion of tastes that's surprisingly satisfying. Shoutout to @baronvg for mentioning how this combo resonates with Hawaiian cuisine - it's all about embracing the mix! Now, I totally get what @tehgringe is saying about the roots of these menu items. Jollibee originates from the Philippines, where dishes like spaghetti and rice are beloved traditions. It's all about celebrating Filipino flavors and cultural identity - and I'm here for it! 🍝🇵🇭 And last but not least, big love to @ailishbergin1257 for sharing such a heartwarming story. Congrats on your little one! 🍼 Jollibee definitely brings smiles and good vibes, and I'm stoked to be a part of the Jollibee fan club all the way from Serbia! Keep those awesome comments coming, and let's keep savoring the global culinary adventures! ✌🌍🍔🍝
The one that you ate with rice called as burger steak ricemeal, and im not sure if you're aware that Filipino dish completes with a rice servings on it... And there's much Filipinos were residing there, and that's maybe why the Jollibee put a branch in there, not just to make Filipinos feel the cravings for our dishes, but also for you to enjoy or at least be introduce of what Filipino serves in table... In CA, USA, Jollibee's has different levels of spice for the chicken and, a to-die-for peach mango pie (they also had jackfruit-banana). Pies are like McD's apple pie - but much better.
@@Beardmeatsfood that beef patty rice & gravy dish may be a play on the Hawaiian dish “Loco Moco” except they top theirs with a sunny side up egg, not mushrooms
In the Philippines the chicken joy is actually the signature dish but you always eat it with gravy and never dry like you did and use the gravy as dip for the fries too. Agree about the spaghetti. I only ordered it once and I can't stand the sweetness of it but I think it's served like that because kids in the Philippines have a sweet tooth and when adults eat it, it reminds them of when they were a kid. As for the chicken burger, I would say it's about as good as the popeyes chicken burger but in the Philippines, the chicken burger at a fast food joint called "army and navy" is better than both of them.
Worst fast food ever, especially in the philippines...but filipinos love it LOL - but they have the worst food in the world anyway, so that kinda fits in
I live in the Philippines and the Filipino's love Jollibee, over here they are the numero uno, I love their Champ Aloha Burgers. MacDo also sell burger patties with gravy in the Philippines. Filipinos do put a lot of sugar in the tomato sauce saying that they put loads of sugar in everything
The beef patties, gravy and rice sound like a Hawaiian dish called “loco moco” (which translates to “crazy burger” in Spanish). The only difference is that loco moco usually has a friend egg, too.
I know this is super late but I was watching some of your newer videos and clicked on this! I love Jolibee, but their menu can be strange. The 2 burger patties with gravy and mushrooms is a play on "salisbury steak" i believe. Ground beef loafs with gravy and usually something like mushrooms in the sauce, we used to get this as a school lunch (Im from California) with a side of mashed potatoes. And the Spaghetti is a big thing in the Philippines, they make a great version of spaghet with little hot dog bits in it xD
In Hawaii, we eat rice, 2 patties, gravy topped with an egg. We call it a Loco Moco. Very famous. Jollibee is from the Philippines. Their spaghetti tends to be on the sweeter side. Enjoyed the video. You da man!

Another great video. Love the new space Beard. That room kinda reminds me of when you’re at a garage waiting for your car to be MOT’d and watching it through the window 🤣. Seriously though, looks sweet and that sign is perfection!! 👌🏻
I think the burger and rice item might actually be the only gluten free option on the menu (depends on the patties and sauce). So there is your mysterious customer :)
The patties with gravy over rice is a rif on the loco Moco. It's a Hawaiian thing and all of Jollibee is pacific island (Philippines mostly) influence. Filipino spaghetti is usually made with banana ketchup making it oddly sweet.
Couple of things on this one Adam. The burger patties with mushroom gravy is called Salisbury steak. I thought it originated in the UK but it’s from the US. The other thing and by far the bigger grievance is how dare you complain that the portion of fries was too small!! In every other video you lament over the fries!! In any case, love the videos, keep’em coming and best to you and Mrs Beard!!

Now, I totally get what @tehgringe is saying about the roots of these menu items. Jollibee originates from the Philippines, where dishes like spaghetti and rice are beloved traditions. It's all about celebrating Filipino flavors and cultural identity - and I'm here for it! 🍝🇵🇭
And last but not least, big love to @ailishbergin1257 for sharing such a heartwarming story. Congrats on your little one! 🍼 Jollibee definitely brings smiles and good vibes, and I'm stoked to be a part of the Jollibee fan club all the way from Serbia! Keep those awesome comments coming, and let's keep savoring the global culinary adventures! ✌🌍🍔🍝
me craving a Jollibee hotdog
MrBeard: dont get the hotdog from jollibee
me: surprise pikatchu face
"I don't think I'm gonna need the spoon"
*not even 1 second later*: 🥄
Adam- "That's a Mouth full!" That's what She said! Lmbo 😂🤣
Am so glad that you tried to vlog Jollibee, no.1 Foodchain in our country.. and i'm so glad that you enjoyed almost all of the menus.. enjoy watching your video here in the Philippines.. Stay safe and please look out for your health too while eating sooo much.. GodBless and more power to you.

In CA, USA, Jollibee's has different levels of spice for the chicken and, a to-die-for peach mango pie (they also had jackfruit-banana). Pies are like McD's apple pie - but much better.
I'm so surprised you have a Jollibee but excited for this video!!
hope you enjoyed it mate
How come you didn’t just walk in and say can I have the full menu 😂
cause when you dont specify, they often pass up one or two items.
👍
because since nobody would ever normally do that....they don't necessarily know that you mean quite literally everything...so it's easier to itemise
@@Beardmeatsfood and overall it's just smart to do, not everyone memorizes the menu.
As for the chicken burger, I would say it's about as good as the popeyes chicken burger but in the Philippines, the chicken burger at a fast food joint called "army and navy" is better than both of them.

that filipino spaghetti for you, they were so dirt poor to make spaghetti they used fake cheese and whatever the red thing is they put on it
Worst fast food ever, especially in the philippines...but filipinos love it LOL - but they have the worst food in the world anyway, so that kinda fits in
It looks incredible beard... true depth on the background. Love the complexity keep up the skills. “Let’s get it!!!”
EVERYTIME I GET HUNGRY AT NIGHT I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS WWHHHYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
For fast food this stuff looks delicious. Hope there’s one in Birmingham
Next time you need to order the full menu you need to dress as Harry Potter and just say il take the lot !
😂😂😂
That's a good one 🤣
We need a jollibee down south 😳❤️
Fully agree. Never tried it. Need to try it.
I need one near me ....I'm in the north west, but miles away from Leeds which is the one that would be closest.
They've got a branch in London, Earl's Court!
@@jaynebyng3278 you arent missing out on much ive had it in america and here in the uk, its on par with KFC
you have it in London :)
Dude, your're so refreshing! Thx for sharing your life with us ;)
I live in the Philippines and the Filipino's love Jollibee, over here they are the numero uno, I love their Champ Aloha Burgers.
MacDo also sell burger patties with gravy in the Philippines.
Filipinos do put a lot of sugar in the tomato sauce saying that they put loads of sugar in everything
Refreshing to see somebody like myself who's sinuses start running whenever they eat for whatever reason
The beef patties, gravy and rice sound like a Hawaiian dish called “loco moco” (which translates to “crazy burger” in Spanish). The only difference is that loco moco usually has a friend egg, too.
Moco is spanish for mucus or snot.
@@Princesslatifah yes MOCO MEANS BOOGER.. LMAO NOT BURGER!
Aloha burger, Peach mango pie and Halo Halo are iconic items too.
In the states we call the burgers with gravy and mushrooms "Salisbury Steak" . Awesome content Adam !
"some kind of bodily mucus." 😂 Legendary, Beard.
11:24 that Pinky and the Brain reference...damn I feel old haha
Collab with ‘Rate My Takeaway Needed’. Fast!?
Agreed!!!
In Hawaii, we eat rice, 2 patties, gravy topped with an egg. We call it a Loco Moco. Very famous. Jollibee is from the Philippines. Their spaghetti tends to be on the sweeter side. Enjoyed the video. You da man!
Been binging your videos lately. You always make me smile!! Keep eating!
Chicken joy wouldnt be dry to your tasting if you have it with their gravy. A tip for you mate.
Another great video beard boy,
Why not invest in an air fryer to heat things up a bit - especially chips - no one likes cold chips.
Il keep watching ya video as long as ya keep making em me laddo.
"By the hairs on my chinny chin chin, where do I begin?"
Ah, nice to see you've got a new catchphrase at last :P
Did you know it’s a Philippines-based restaurant fast food chain? That’s why there’s random dishes such as spaghetti and rice with mushrooms and burgers. I’ve always wanted try food from Jollibee looks good and tasty 🤤
"because it's really hard to eat spaghetti with a beard" proceeds to eat it like a Northern Warrior *Challenge accomplished*
The patties with gravy over rice is a rif on the loco Moco. It's a Hawaiian thing and all of Jollibee is pacific island (Philippines mostly) influence. Filipino spaghetti is usually made with banana ketchup making it oddly sweet.
Love your videos. Is that clock running in the top let going to stay? It's distracting lol.
Keep up the awesome work!
Born in ‘80 so I get it. Jollibee would be fun to try but Oregon doesn’t have one. Keep carring on!
miami vice vibe looking backdrop there beard....also ''highway to the danger zone'' #80svibe
Wait jollibee in the uk dont have spicy fried chicken?? NOOO
When everything is back to normal come to the Philippines. :)
I honestly wanted to see you enjoy it, but then I saw the video was 15 minutes 😭😭😂😂 I knew you were gonna tear through it
As a Filipino, I take an offence when you say that no one orders mushroom gravy burger patty with a rice 🤣
