I knew Tulak Hord was powerful when it was said that he knew the secret to true immortality. Something no other Sith has truly acquired. Sure, there’s the transferring of bodies like Sidious and Vitiate did, but he actually knew the secret to real immortality. Just that fact alone made him my number 1 Sith Lord.
DAWGZofWAR Andeddu also used mind transference. True immortality would not be that one can just cheat death but that not only can one not age and get sick but also cannot even be psychically or mentally harmed in any way or at least, if they are, the damage repairs itself very quickly.

My favourite lightsaber style is when Maul used one blade to attack Qui-Gon on Tatooine, as it made his lightsaber look like a long sword with the two handed grip. But since it’s actually a double blade I’d say Dooku’s duelling saber is my favourite lightsaber in Star Wars

Interesting video. I hadn't heard of Tulak Hord before this video, but I very much like his character based on this video. I would've thought the most powerful Sith Lord ever would have to be an embodiment of pure darkness, and am surprised at Hord's honourable traits with his reward of Khem Val and the loyalty he inspired among those he conquered. I'd love to see and hear more of this character and see his personality portrayed in a video game, TV series or film!!! :) :) :)

If you think about it, it really depends on the context. During the Era of a lot of the sith lords people make videos about there were a lot of other siths before and after many of them, so the fact that people know about them over maybe thousand other sith is already saying they were quite powerful. But I agree with you on the use of most powerful or greatest. If they were a little more specific I think people wouldn't discredit them that much. Can’t help but love the sith! They have much cooler sabers and looks then my beloved Jedi... Great video, my favorite lightsaber had always been Darth Maul's from Phantom Menace. However, I just discovered from a different video that Ahsoka's white lightsabers came from crystals used in an inquisitor's lightsaber that she killed and healed the crystals after his defeat. That's incredible!

Revan (This is assuming they all *duel* against each other, instead of backstabbing, engaging in space combat, or maybe even war) Though this ranking is only speculation, it would make some sense for Malgus to be above Revan, simply because Revan tends to be really passive in the early fight (Because he is observing) I would believe that Malgus (Being really agressive) would have already killed Revan before Revan would be able to observe and counter. Tulak-Hord on the other hans is simply just unmatchable in a duel.

blazer 144 they had swords forged with dark side force alchemy, and they could etch their soul to it. So the Jedi had to invent the lightsaber to combat them, and the first lightsabers sucked because they had to be attached to batteries. So the Sith thought they were lame until later on. But still some Sith would stick with their swords.

tankanstein You do realize that Darth Sidious is the strongest Sith to ever exist right? And he lost the duel against Windu cause Windu used Sidious's call to the darkside to empower himself. The more Hord called on the darkside the stronger and faster windu would become. Literally in an interview George Lucas said Windu beat Sidious. It was Anakin's intervention that saved Sidious.
The force is what gives the sith and jedi their lightsaber combat prowess. They use the force to predict each other's moves, to strengthen themselves, to fight off fatigue, the force is integral to lightsaber combat. I think windu would win that fight.

I guess I've spent too much time watching "Workers doing their jobs perfectly" videos on RUclips, but every time I hear of Tulak Hord's skill with a lightsaber, it makes me wish we had the ability to watch him spar, even just for practice, so we could see what ACTUAL mastery of lightsaber combat looks like, as opposed to something we've all seen before, like Yoda, Sideous, and Anakin's usage of lightsabers in a duel.
The greatest sith Lord to ever live is probably the eternal emperor, I know that isn't his name but even if trayer knew of the sith empire at the time she had no way of understanding how strong she was. The emperor to my knowledge was not betrayed for a long time and brought the sith to a strength that they were able to take coresant which if I am remembering things correctly wasn't something that happened often

Honestly Tulak is one of my most favorite Sith Lords in the old EU. I hope he gets recanonized someday! :)

I always wanted to see a what if between Tulak Hord and Darth Vader or even Darth Sidous. Also I think a match against Mace Windu with his Vapad style would be interesting as well. Mace Windu Saber please!
Very true city of wasn't much of a duelist he was more of a force-user but who master everything out of the force and let not forget during a time where you have to master everything was one of the most important things about the Sith and to the point where people loved tulak hord that is completely different from what Sidious Vader or any other Sith did it is the way of the Sith that they die by their princess is just how it is but remember to lock was killed by his Apprentice but never really killed him in a joule or anything because he was feared that much that has Apprentice could not actually beat them in a juul or by force Powers so the only way was to do is buy betrayal even Sidious Sidious would never have killed Plagueis without getting him drunk

If it is widely known then why exclude it. Once a franchise moves on from it's original creator it's pretty much just a cash cow ready to be milked anyway. Beyond that many peripheral stories have just as much creativity and merit as the original works they draw from.

First heard about Tulak Hord while playing KOTOR 2 on Dxun. And my favourite lightsaber is Count Dooku's lightsaber.

Ilkvomit honestly I can't remember now. I could be mixing him up with Marka Ragnos or Freedon Nadd. Who's tomb was on Dxun again? Maybe this is an impetus to play KOTOR 2 again. Haven't touched that game in years.

Ilkvomit Awesome. I know what you're talking about. KOTOR 2 was awesome, and it could have been even better if they didn't rush it to markets. In my opinion, the story was excellent and so were the the characters. Honestly, we need another KOTOR game. Or a single player pseudo open universe game as good as KOTOR. Star Wars gaming is literally suffering at the moment. We're in the dark times of Star Wars gaming.

If you think about it, it really depends on the context. During the Era of a lot of the sith lords people make videos about there were a lot of other siths before and after many of them, so the fact that people know about them over maybe thousand other sith is already saying they were quite powerful. But I agree with you on the use of most powerful or greatest. If they were a little more specific I think people wouldn't discredit them that much.

Great video, my favorite lightsaber had always been Darth Maul's from Phantom Menace. However, I just discovered from a different video that Ahsoka's white lightsabers came from crystals used in an inquisitor's lightsaber that she killed and healed the crystals after his defeat. That's incredible!

1. Tulak-Hord
2. Malgus
3. Revan
(This is assuming they all *duel* against each other, instead of backstabbing, engaging in space combat, or maybe even war)
Though this ranking is only speculation, it would make some sense for Malgus to be above Revan, simply because Revan tends to be really passive in the early fight (Because he is observing) I would believe that Malgus (Being really agressive) would have already killed Revan before Revan would be able to observe and counter. Tulak-Hord on the other hans is simply just unmatchable in a duel.
Literally every Dark Lord that's buried in the Valley of the Dark Lords was more powerful than Revan.

No they usually used duel bladed red lightsaber before syth vs jedi i think
blazer 144 they had swords forged with dark side force alchemy, and they could etch their soul to it. So the Jedi had to invent the lightsaber to combat them, and the first lightsabers sucked because they had to be attached to batteries. So the Sith thought they were lame until later on. But still some Sith would stick with their swords.

tankanstein You do realize that Darth Sidious is the strongest Sith to ever exist right? And he lost the duel against Windu cause Windu used Sidious's call to the darkside to empower himself. The more Hord called on the darkside the stronger and faster windu would become. Literally in an interview George Lucas said Windu beat Sidious. It was Anakin's intervention that saved Sidious.

The force is what gives the sith and jedi their lightsaber combat prowess. They use the force to predict each other's moves, to strengthen themselves, to fight off fatigue, the force is integral to lightsaber combat. I think windu would win that fight.

I guess I've spent too much time watching "Workers doing their jobs perfectly" videos on RUclips, but every time I hear of Tulak Hord's skill with a lightsaber, it makes me wish we had the ability to watch him spar, even just for practice, so we could see what ACTUAL mastery of lightsaber combat looks like, as opposed to something we've all seen before, like Yoda, Sideous, and Anakin's usage of lightsabers in a duel.

The greatest sith Lord to ever live is probably the eternal emperor, I know that isn't his name but even if trayer knew of the sith empire at the time she had no way of understanding how strong she was.
The emperor to my knowledge was not betrayed for a long time and brought the sith to a strength that they were able to take coresant which if I am remembering things correctly wasn't something that happened often
