Just got this from Amazon UK. Went together easily and very accurately made. The only issue I had is the spring tensioner bolt that has to be replaced. Using the stock stepper screws and the stock Neo extruder, the edges of the bolt hits the stock screw and I had to use pliers to turn it, it appears the stock Neo extruder is slightly different than the one in the video. I could have used a low profile screw if I'd known. Other than that, a superb kit, well done. Oh and a little tip for anyone doing this, when you come to fit the stepper bracket, screw in one of the supplied screws, screw it into each hole you intend on using to clear out the powder coating from the holes. I thought the screw threads were the wrong size until I realised. Great kit though, loved fitting it.
Did you have an issue with the brackets being EXTREMELY loose?? I have never had a bracket shake like this one before. And of course, a shakey bracket makes for shitty prints.
@@gregbiber2787 Hello, we have shipped our first batch half month ago ,usually it takes about a month to be delivered,I will contact you once it is available.
42-40 stepper as a direct drive... on a single Z leadscrew printer... and it's tilting to the side without the screw. So how's the print quality? I bet it's worse than the stock bowden.
Dang, I already got the entier direct drive unit. 😢 Should I send it back and just get this and use the hotend that was originally on the ender 3 neo? I have noticed that with the full unit, I am losing an inch of work space since putting the CR Touch back on 🤷🏼♀️
@@msahin3 yes but i have heard that it will work just try it and if it doesnt work you cant calibrate esteps by hand. atleast give it a shot and you can always revert it
so if I no longer have the original hotend on my ender 3 neo then I need to get the non neo series attachment correct? I have the red hotend like the ender 3 now not the bowden one that came on it.
What's up ,folks!
This Ender 3 neo series direct drive bracket is available on US amazon now :

Yes it will be available on all the amazon market, please return the non-neo version and buy the correct one😂@@danielmurray3239
@@unitak3d-club427much appreciated! I ordered during the week, the bracket fits lovely!

@@kimgerlach-stosboutique No, it was absolutely rock solid.
I had this problem too, you just need to turn the spacer for the bottom roller to adjust it.@@kimgerlach-stosboutique
Sorry, not the hex nut, there is a hex spacer on the other side of the wheel that you can adjust to fix the wobbling.@@kimgerlach-stosboutique
@@DuckAnimation1 ahh ok, I see. I will try that. Thank you.

Yes if you have got the ender 3 red hotend ,please buy the ender 3 direct bracket.
Is this compatible with ender 3v2 neo?
Yes it works with Ender 3 V2 Neo
Is this compatible with the Ender 3 Max Neo as well?
(I'm getting one in the future!)
Hello ,it won't fit on Ender 3 Max neo ,which has different dimension
@@unitak3d-club427 But the nozzle and extruder parts look the same!
What stepper motor to fit that dual extruder
Ender 3 Neo series have a longer shaft stepper motor,it does the job flawlessly
@unitak3d-club427 I have the neo max and it has the shorter motor shaft and does not fit mine.
I am interested
