  • Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS) is proud to present award-winning Ukulele Composer and Musician Kris Fuchigami and his mother, Keiko Fuchigami, as the second installment of our new "Realities of Being an AAPI Artist" series, hosted by Leianne Wong Lamb.
    Kris shares his journey to becoming a ukulele artist and musician, the ups and downs of artist life, the sacrifices, and the rewards. Keiko, an accomplished musician, shares her insights and perspective as an artist and a parent of an artist. She also offers advice on how parents can support their children's interest in the arts.
