  • We demonstrate some of the ways we connect external audio devices to iPhone and iPad. Links to hardware appear below:

    Great video. Using my phone to record a demo and this helped greatly

    @02:10 "I've got this USB input on this side, and this USB plug on this side. And this obviously does not go into an IPad". Excellent, nice and simple. This is how you explain it to someone who does not know how to connect to an IPad. If I knew what those different plugs were called then I would not be watching this video.

    If you have an iPad Pro with USB C you don’t need that extra cord you can just a USB C cord straight from the 2i2 to your iPad. That’s what I do and I don’t worry about charging because I can record and then while I’m mixing I can unplug the 2i2 and start charging it up. You can just go back and forth from recording to mixing with no need for extra dongle’s , adapters or very expensive camera kits.

    El iRig se puede usar para iPad con entrada USB C?
    Ya que tengo el mismo adaptador usb C pero esa entrada de 3.5 no registra audio, solo es un adaptador para extraer el audio… o quizá lo estoy haciendo mal. Si tuvieras la oportunidad de hacer alguna prueba, podrías ayudarme bastante.

    Can’t we connect the Soundcard to iPad without USB hub?

    • @BlueMangooSoftware
      @BlueMangooSoftware  3 года назад

      Only if the iPad has enough power. My iPad pro 12.9 can do it but my iPad standard size can not.

    Hi! How can i connect my amp output to a PC track recorder and use my iPhone camera video synchronyzed with it?

    • @BlueMangooSoftware
      @BlueMangooSoftware  3 года назад +1

      Personally I find that difficult. Often the video timing doesn’t match with the audio. Even with the same sample rate they get out of sync after a few minutes. Usually I have to cut the audio (or video) into smaller sections and sync them by hand in final cut.
