Nice review. Been looking for a thousand dollar watch for about a month. Many, many brands sought out and viewed. This Laco checks a lot of boxes for me. Love the look of a German watch. Sharp, clean, precise. I’m finally pulling the trigger on this one in 42m. Thanks for a simply well done review.
Glad you found it useful I really like the watch , please let me know what you think of it when it turns up mate, as I'll be interested to know if you agree with my thoughts on it .
I bought mine a few months ago and really love it. Got the metal bracelet version. I'd just add to what you said there's a total of four color schemes - this (blue), green, orange, and white with orange accents. I think you only showed the first three.
Spot on Barry! Great channel, great content and very informative. So much so it was the inspiration to purchase my first Sinn recently. Cheers fella! Keep up the great work.
I have the 42mm version. Best bezel I’ve seen. Great review. The reason I don’t want AR on the exterior is because I have seen it start to wear off on watches that have seen some usage.
@@ClickSpringReview Cool choices, both Aachen Taupe and Memmingen👍 I must admit that Im normally not into divers, but especially the Mojave 39 with orange colors - WOW! Im afraid you brilliant video triggered new thoughts in regards to Laco 👍😉 Have a great evening!
Looks great. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and I think this will work. Very keen on a German diver, such as Sinn or Damasko, but this is great value. Sorely tempted!
I agree with you, especially in the date positioning. I'd love they made some steeper shorter lugs. It is good you can opt for only inner AR. Nice review.
Cheers Sir I really like this one and after talking very nicely to Laco I now own the watch :) , Hopefully in the next week or two I should be having a custom strap or two coming for it
Ordered the 42 Atlantic a few Days ago. With the Metal bracelet and additionally the blue rubber Nato. Now I'm having a hard time waiting for arrival 😂
This watch look interesting, and i like its from Germany, i might pull the trigger on this one. Everything that comes from Germany is good quality. It's such a trustworthy country when it comes to everything from washing machines to cars, my Siemens washing machine is 5 years not a single problem, my Bosch dishwasher also not a single issue for 4 years, my Volkswagen car almost 3 years not a single problem and i bought it used. As a child we had a Grundig TV for over 10 years it never had a problem always worked, i even remember once we moved to another apartment the TV was dropped on the floor by accident and it did not break or even get any visible marks, my dad once was very angry because of a football match he threw the tv controller on the front tv nothing happend with the glass and the controller was also in perfect condition. Everything was build like a tank. I grew to have trust in products from German brands.
I like this. A lot. Never thought I’d say that about a Laco diver. Not mad about the strap personally I don’t like too much bright colour just too loud for my taste. I’m selling my marathon GSAR in 41, and even though it’s a brilliant watch the bezel takes up half the watch and the dial is really quite small and crowded. This is completely the opposite and I love this style of bezel. Might be the replacement…. Thank you fabulous review
Diver under 1K, 300m, Swiss movement, great design and a name to back it up; I wouldn’t be surprised if this sell like hot bread. What amazes me, is that particular colour grade; The Germans are blessed with a particular attention to colour. I start caring less about other things (example: thickness) because of how good the dial and hand colour ambiance is.
I was really didn't expect this to be as good as is, the colour makes it stands out in a very non German way :) , Its so hard to fault this one like as you say it ticks all the right boxes and at great price Adrian
Hi Barry, as you say, this ticks a whole lot of desirable boxes. I'm just imagining this with the SW330.2 Top purring away under the bonnet... fit an internal 24 hour ring (like the Sinn U2) and with this colour scheme it would be a winner. Laco don't seem to have a big presence in the UK, but are popular in Germany. Their grey dial Flieger model is rather nice... The Laco website does the company no favours: reviews like this and Axel's recent review of the above mentioned gray dial Flieger are what's needed to show off the watches properly. Regarding customisation, dig deep into the Laco website and you'll find that they'll artificially age your beautiful, shiny new Flieger and cover it with dents, scratches and surface discolouration... each to their own... 😳 Thanks for this Barry, you done good mate. Cheers, Bob 🍻
I'm going to talk with Sarah over at Laco again and see if I can get another watch in for review , as you say their not that big over here which is a shame and I do like reviewing different brands and Laco fits perfectly into that category Bob 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview I shall look forward to this with anticipation 😀. Regarding movements, I wonder if Laco have considered fitting the Miyota 9075 to any of their watches... Have a good one m8, 👍 😊
Not really, it is a good movement with 8 beat per second you can hear the rotor like in the 7750 and hand setting does feel light when compared to the SW200-1 ,
What a watch y will use for the next 2 years when y have Only one opinion this watch in Video ore a Sinn 556 A ore I ? Thank you Mate sry for my Bad Englisch :)
Thats a tough one, the 556 is more of an everyday model, what I mean is you can wear it with jeans or a suit anything really, were as the Laco is a casual sports watch which you couldn't wear it with a shirt. I think I'd go with the 556 but honestly you can't go wrong with either.
I have had the Laco Atlantik 39 for two days and it is indeed a testament to German engineering It fits perfectly on my 6.5 inch wrist this has to be one of the best looking timepieces on the market Regarding the lume, it looks impressive when fully charged but it fades quickly which is rather disappointing
Hi Have a look on the Laco website. Special note: To give the material a more pleasant, lasting smell, a vanilla rubber is mixed with vanilla aroma during production I did not order the strap separate it came fitted to the watch After wearing the watch for 4 days the aroma stays on your skin The Laco Atlantic look's amazing on the wrist I would go as far and say it looks fit a word that I haven't used since my school day's
Hello, I've damaged the bezel insert on my Laco Atlantik 39 RB I have contacted Laco to request a replacement, but unfortunately, they do not offer replacement parts. Laco has quoted me £185 for a bezel insert replacement. Would you happen to know the measurements for the bezel insert? I am hoping to find an alternative online.
The Glycine is a good watch for sure, but for me personally it doesn't stand out , Thats not to say its bad in anyway, but I like the color of the Laco and its fully lumed bezel insert and chunky bezel . I will contact them and see if I can get to review one
@@ClickSpringReview I think I read on the official Laco website that Scorpions glow in the dark, so there is an association between the glowing scorpion and the lumed dial. Pretty clever. Edit/Correction: They glow under UV light at night.
Im not really satisfied with mine, its the same, it lacks anti-reflective coating on the glass, the glass itself looks as if it was made out of normal ordinary window instead of a fine glass precisely made for a watch of this class, and so i come to the conclusion that i regret selling my Oris and then buying this shit. Cheers
You should upgraded and got the AR on both sides of the crystal Laco offer this , As standard it comes with AR on the inside which most people prefer as that way you cant mark it

My job is done here 🤣 ps it is a great watch I'm looking forward to checking out the new PVD version
Whoa, that's the most attractive Laco I've seen and I've been giving them a closer look the past week. Very interesting...
It's like a breath of fresh air from the brand I'd say Matt

Great watch , I’ve just subscribed mate.
In the macro shots it’s looking very dusty, is that under the crystal or on top?

4 days in and I've had to ditch the vanilla infused strap it has become quite nauseous A rather odd choice for a watch strap in my opinion

At this price and looks, there’s no more reasons to buy lower end Seiko Prospex with misaligned bezel and really off 4R movements.
