here is the lore...
copper and agate are twins as shown in Dust. they are part of the first 7 human wizards. Amber is either the 7th or 8th one. There mother (unkwon name) died after giving birth to amber. Kindness tried to save her but failed she could on save the baby (amber) all the wizards took care of Amber but it was mostly copper and agate who did the work. 1 day agate and copper have a fight over the fate of monsters agate declares a battle and whoever wins chooses the fate of monsters. Copper wins and agate's bravery was lost she fled in humiliation. She later returned and made peace with copper but still she was bitter. She fought him but copper didnt want to fight so agate tried to kill amber to get copper to fight. In the end Agate killed amber and copper. But due to the fact she lost her bravery her soul was breaking so she took Amber and did the soul change (aka bete noire) and gave amber her soul with the intent to end monsters however because agate hasnt got a soul anymore she dies in the end. Hope this explained everything :)

The only thing I think you are incorrect on is that I’m pretty sure that agate did not give her soul. But instead used the body of Amber as a host for a completely different spirit.

Amber was around 13 when she died. It's quite tragic.

I think the lore behind her "wound" was that the magic she used to more or less restore her trait while also inverting it was slowly killing her.
Okay so here's the lore for the video:
Copper (Determination wizard) and Agate (Bravery wizard) are siblings, according to the book on Human History Gaster read in "Dust". They're also two of the seven wizards that created the barrier which sealed the monsters Underground. The video starts with the birth of Amber (who 's body will be used to become the vessel for the Bete Noire spell) and their mother's death, followed by the moments Amber spent growing up with her siblings. One night she witnessed Copper and Agate arguing between each other to determine the fate of the monsters: Copper wanted to break the barrier to unite the two species in peace, while Agate wanted the barrier to remain as it is, since she saw the monsters as a threat to humanity. Since they couldn't form an agreement, Agate forced Copper to fight her. The winner would then determine the fate of the monsters. The battle was won by Copper, who was stronger due to his determination. Agate, humiliated by her defeat (and possibly by the fact that the monsters, the things she saw as a threat, would coexist with humanity), lost her trait and fled, making Amber and Copper worry for her safety. The following days Copper spent were filled with stress by having to take responsibility not only by his role as a ruler, but by temporarily taking over his sister's role, and by sending search parties throughout the land to search for his missing sister. After a week, his sister returned to the kingdom, but with a different appearance, which frightened some people. But her brother welcomed her with open arms and forgave her, later organizing a party to celebrate her return. If I'm not mistaken, a week after the party, Agate challenged her brother once more to fight her, but he refused. She then threatened to kill Amber to make him change his mind. As she was about to attack her younger sister, Copper intervened and told Amber to flee as he battled against Agate. As Amber ran towards the nearest exit, Agate destroyed it with her magic, making Amber's skirt get caught in the debris. After freeing herself from the debris, Amber tried to escape only to be murdered by Agate. Copper, who saw this happen, lost his determination due to his shock and grief, giving Agate the chance to kill him. After the death of her siblings, Agate's soul was cracking due to the sudden change between traits (Bravery-No trait-Fear). Her time was running short. She picked up Amber's corpse, since the spell required a host and performed the Bete Noire spell on her own soul. The soul absorbed her sister's corpse and Agate perished soon after.
By the way, Agate's soul became pink because her soul was used to perform the Bete Noire spell, not because it became the soul of fear. Camila herself stated that the soul of fear is dark orange, which makes sense since the opposite of Bravery IS Fear, having it represented by a darker color/version of orange. I hope I was able to clear your doubts! :)
TLDR: dark orange soul (Agate’s)= fear
Pink soul (Agate’s)= bete noire spell
Amber’s soul= shattered, she’s gone for good

I think that the bravery soul(don't know names so ima go with traits)and the determination soul were brother to sis with amber, and there mother was the blue soul that cracked and died after giving birth to amber. The two older siblings then took care of amber happily. Then they started fighting about whether monsters should be freed or not(determination thought they should be freed, bravery thought they should be left in the underground) and so they fought, leaving determination soul with victory. Bravery lost her bravery and had lost her trait from the loss, and soon searched for the soul of DETERMINATIONS weakness...fear, the pink soul. Then soon came back later and had wanted another fight to prove her victory. she had one, but in doing so, killed her little sister, amber, just so determination soul would fight. But she didn't want her brother, determination soul, to know she was fear, the opposite of determination, so he didn't know she was cheating, she used a disguise. After killing amber, determination soul lost all their determination and then was killed after. Bravery aka fear, soon noticed that her time was almost done, since in legend, if you get fear as a trait you will soon die of it. So knowing her time was near, she grabbed the dead body of amber and dragged her were no one would see. She then took her own soul and took ambers body and changed amber. Amber was now betty. She became the bête noire, also fear. She had gotten sucked up in the soul and stored for the future and would be released when monsters came to the surface. Her job was to eliminate all monster kind. And so the story starts were frisk and the rest of the monsters return to the surface. This is my theory, based on what Gaster had read, what the lore is and what this video gave us. Please look at this Zalzar. And whomever read this, thank you for devoting your time into reading it.
Missholis13 Unfortunately, that may not happen. Camila commented on the video that Amber can't be saved because her soul has actually been gone for a long time. This led me to believe that Betty is either Agate in disguise or just a completely new being in general. But I'm still keeping my hopes up.
Rebecca Jackson yes ur right, amber cant be escaped and so bravery used her pwn soul and ambes body turning her into a monster, so amber cant be saved, but was changed that what i think

Okie, I'll try to sum things up based on what I know and assume.
-Amber's mother died after giving birth to her.
-Amber has the trait of Integrity and Kindness.
-Copper and Agate are her older brother and sister, which can be proven based on the drawings hung on the wall in scene in this video.
-Copper and Agate had an argument over the barrier, and Agate challenged Copper to a fight to solve things out.
-Obviously, Copper won, causing Agate to lose her trait. She ran away and banished herself.
-After a while, Agate came back. Her trait was now a darker orange, which Cami stated that it was the black beast spell in the comments section on that video.
-On that very night, Agate tried to challenge Copper again but he was reluctant.
-Agate decided to kill Amber so that she could make Copper lose his determination.
-Agate ended up killing Amber, causing Copper to lose his determination since...well, ya know, it's traumatizing to see your sister kill your younger sister. :P
-Agate then finally killed Copper.
-However, her soul couldn't adapt to the sudden change of trait, thus she begun dragging Amber somewhere.
-If you see Amber's hair, the hair colour is fading to brown at the top, showing that Amber's soul was gone, along with her trait, since it seems that eyes and hair usually shows the user's trait.
-Agate used the Bete Noire spell, causing her hair and soul and eyes to turn pink.
-She gave her soul to Amber, which inverted her colours from green to pink. As it is stated at the beginning, the Bete Noire is an 'inverted' spell.
-Amber/Betty got sucked into the soul, preparing to only wake up when the barrier was broken so that she was there to ensure that monsters and humans will not exist in harmony.
-Agate, who had no soul now, collapsed to ground dead.
And here's some facts!

-Betty is actually just magic with a physical form. Don't believe me? Go check one of her speedpaints about Betty, she literally says it in the description of the video.
-Alphys is NEVER coming back, as her soul got completely destroyed.
-Amber and Betty are not the same.
-Amber can't be saved. I mean, come on, she's been dead for years and now, she's not even a human!
-Betty can never be good, which was confirmed by Cami.
-Betty believes that she is doing the right thing, shown in one of Cami's post. She thinks that monsters and humans will end up fighting one day, thus she's just 'speeding up the process'.
-Do ya wanna know who's the real villian...?

Someone made a theory about the game being the villian on Tumblr and Cami said that it was almost completely correct.
From what I remember about the post, the game was trying to delete the current universe as Frisk was never meant to reach this point. Remember, the game is glitched. Thus, Betty is like the 'eraser', which is unconsciously actually helping the game.
I can explain a bit
The same way frisk is a reincarnation of Chara, Betty is the reincarnation of Amber
Pretty simple, with the difference that hate and determination aren't that different, through determination we can keep on trying to do what we want if we want, through hate you just want to get rid of it no matter what or how you have to do in order to succeed even if you get killed in the process, about courage and fear besides being the opposition of each other I don't see a connection but I'm sure Amber became Betty

Now that Frisk got his friends back , he won't lose his determination , when Asriel died in front of him , instead of bein' weakened , Frisk was stronger.
But being LOVE 20 in a pacifist run make the world glitch , I think Frisk is afraid the world just erase because of the glitches , he wanted to kill Betty the sooner the better , but he didn't succeed...

Frisk still has determination if he didnt have it his magic would dissapear my theory is that Frisk will be this power losing slowly and obviously there will be some side affect of gaining suddenly so much power from nowhere so it could be dying (which i dont think so tho) OR something else like losing magic or somethin we will see

Chara talks about how frisk reset in a battle which was actually sans.But that was impossible in the real game.causing that to be a glitch.which glitched chara making her alive with her hate soul.Whenever frisk does something impossible,it causes a glitch.also frisk said that she would take the consequences when she turned level 19.
When that happened things made her glitch out of her own world.Since she turned level 19 I believe she became a glitch and is starting to glitch out of this timeline.and it won't be long until she gets glitched out

the lore was that amber, the orphan, carried out her mother's insanity, she turned her daughter's soul pink, meaning she's carrying her Mother insanity, the reason why she's the villain in the first place
Btw, Amber before she was killed, she knew how to balance and nurture both the traits of Kindness and Integrity.

Actually in the comments of the video (or maybe in the description) Camilla said that dark brown is the color or Fear and her soul turned pink only because she used the Bete Noire spell.

What if this has to do with what is said in Do or Die, when Betty gets her full powers Rhabdophobia flashed on the screen. Rhabdophobia means Rhabdophobia is the fear being criticized or punished or fear of being beaten by a rod (stick, club or swtiches) or fear of magic (wands). What if that is Amber being scared of Agate when she used magic and a stick like object to kill her? Does that ean that a bit of Amber is still there?

Nonononononononono, Basically what happened is they were arguing over the conflict with the Humans and Monsters, yes BUT Bravery which is the orange one wanted monsters to be sealed off forever in the underground while Determination which is a boy and Bravery was a girl, off topic Determination wanted there to be peace between Humans and monsters, when Determination won the first battle, Bravery ran away and found a NEW trait which is F E A R, she challenged Determination again and won during that battle she won Amber was killed, After the battle, She couldn't take the drastic changes with her new trait and knew her time was up soon. So she used Amber's body to create Betty aka Bete Noire, And Bravery died in the process but saving her soul with Amber, now betty in it. Amber basically turned into Betty. Determination and Bravery were siblings along with Amber
Camila explains a bit more in the comment section of that video. Basically, dark orange/brown is the color of fear because it's a dark form of bravery. It became pink because of Agate's spell. Amber is completely dead, her soul was used to make/finish the spell.

What I think happened with Amber and Agate is I think the spell turned Amber's body INTO the Soul of Fear itself, and the soul is able to manifest the body given to it so it could blend in with the humans of the surface.
Copper Lightvale is Determination, Agate Lightvale is Bravery, Roy Goldburn is Justice, Mila Rutrow is Kindness (the one in the beginning), Kody Fallenfire is Integrity, Rin Winterway is Patience, and Shane Goldburn is Perseverance. And Amber is both Kindness and Integrity, and not a wizard.

So that’s why Betty’s used an illusion in episode 1 depicting a woman in orange as her mother.
Okay here's the run down of what happened at the end. Agate wanted Copper to fight her and threatened to kill Amber if he didn't. Copper immediately started to fight and Agate saw that he would keep fighting and that she would most likely lose. She then decided to kill Amber for the sole purpose of gaining the ability to kill Copper by draining him of determination at their sisters death. It worked and Agate killed Copper. She was severely wounded and dragged Amber's body into an alleyway. She then changed her SOUL to Fear and used Ambers body at a host to Betty. Agate then died of either her wounds or the amount of magic she was doing completely overworked her and she died. According to Cami in a comment in the video Amber IS permanently dead and so is Agate. Amber's body is just a physical appearance for Betty's SOUL. Now this is my theory but I believe that This doesn't mean that Amber doesn't have SOME influence over the SOUL sometimes but she's not in control and if Betty dies, Ambers spirit either dies or wasnt here in the first place.

So in my opinion this is basically what happened
The person with the blue soul was using their soul to make sure Amber lives because she wasn’t going to make it. I’m guessing that Ambers original soul is green/kindness but then the person with the blue soul gave her part blue/integrity. I think that the 2 adults, Bravery and Determination were Ambers parents. So then one day they got in a fight and Bravery lost, so she went to go find out how to change her soul and when she did she went back to Determination and fought him and then Amber saw what was going on and then Determination told Amber to run because her mom was evil now. So then as we saw what happened, Bravery killed Amber and then killed Determination. Then Bravery noticed that she wasn’t going to make it so then she went to a location and used Amber’s body and her own soul to make Betty. Betty’s soul isn’t even her own, it’s Bravery’s/her mother’s Soul so she has the powers bravery gained and now her job is to make sure no one lives in peace.

From what i know is that agate did the soul change spell and made it so her soul reflects amber her apearance, amber can not be resqued as she allready died, betty is nothing but a thing with a distorted soul of fear

Fear Is actually a very dark orange color. The reason why It's pink, because pink is the result of using a Bete Noire spell.
(Fact: If you add blue to orange, it creates a pink color.)
Bete has the body of Amber but the used soul of Agget(?)
Also if you didnt realize, you probably did, but this ties in with the short story that Gaster read when he found out about Bete's real plan and identity
Fear is actually Dark Orange, the Béte Noire spell causes it to turn Pink but gud reaction as usual (compared Agate Lightvale’s hair color when she left and returned) 💗
This is my theory on how Amber became Betty, if Fear gets stronger due to the amount of fear in a person, maybe Copper after seeing Amber die not only lost his determination but also had some fear, and Agate probably got a little stronger after she killed Copper, though her soul couldn’t handle it, so she took Amber’s body and gave her the fear trait (since we only saw one soul break which was Copper’s maybe Amber’s soul lingered when she became Betty)
Agate used forbidden magic and her soul was cracking meaning that she was gonna die because it was cracking from hate, Betty is using Amber's body and Amber can't be saved because her soul of integrity and kindness must of cracked and disappeared and Fear is a darker version of orange Camila said so im wondering how were gonna actually save Amber, maybe Frisk is gonna die and be in the black room and he will go back in time from a glitch and help save Amber but what do I know right? XD But it would be cool to see him go back and help defeat Bravery but for a season 3 if Camila is going to do one, I think there will be a new character because Frisk might glitch out of the timeline. Bravery queen fight Determination, Determination won then Bravery lost her trace, then it got transformed into "fear" and it's like a dark-orange soul, then she did a spell to transform the dark-orange into Pink soul.
Amber died and Agatha used her soul to absorb Amber's dead body as a vessel....now with Agatha's intentions of Monster genocide Amber's body becomes "Bete Noire"
The brown/dark orange soul is Fear. But at the hate it's become pale pink because she uses the forbidden spell. And I THINK that at the end she just.. Yeah die.. But like if... STORY TIME: The seven human wizards sealed monsters underground. After an unknown amount of time, the mother Agate and Copper Lightvale, the wizards of Bravery and Determination respectively, went into labor. The Kindess wizard, Mila Rutrow, assisted in the birth, but even with her healing magic, was not able to stop the Mrs. Lightvale from dying. She died giving birth to Agate and Copper’s sister, Amber, who had a two traited soul, of Integrity and Kindess. Later, the other 5 wizards go missing hunting a special monster that defected and escaped deportation to the underground. This left Agate and Copper to take care of the kingdom. When Amber was about 14, Copper and Agate began to fight over the barrier. Copper wanted to free monsters, but Agate wanted to keep the peace. Agate challenged Copper, saying if he won, he could free monsters. They fought, with Amber watching on the side. Agate was stronger, but Copper’s determination knew no bounds leading him to victory. While Agate may have been physically brave, she was no mentally brave; this along with the humiliation of losing causing her to lose her trait and flee the kingdom. An unknown amount of passes, and Agate returns to her siblings, somehow regained her trait, and they seem to not noticed that her hair and eyes have become a darker version of what it once was. Agate challenges Copper again, but he refuses. She attacks him, but then she turns on Amber instead. Copper attacks, but she easily defends. During her exile, Agate somehow came into contact with hate, and inverted her trait to fear. Copper tells Amber to run, but Agate blasts the doorway, and Amber’s skirt gets caught in the debris. Agate takes this chance to kill her. Watching his sister die by his other sibling, Copper lost all his determination, allowing Agate to easily kill him. However, Agate soul began to crack, as her soul could not adapt to the corruption she inflicted upon it. Before it could shatter, Agate performs a spell she had learned about. The soul then absorbed Amber’s body, and would then create a replication of it, into the body of Betty. While Agate watched and died. Centuries later, monsters were free from the underground. And Bête Noir awakened from its slumber separating itself into two (Betty and Akumu) to conceal its demonic appearance. And then Glitchtale season 2 begins.

Actually,this Glitchtale video and If undertale is realistic 14 came out in the same day(almost at the same time since 8 minutes difference between which videos posted first.This video was first)

Maybe the forbidden spell was MAKING a soul, and she inverted Amber’s soul, and after she was so weak and drained of magic and her trait, she ended up dying. But if she died, how did she appear in season 2 pretending to be Betty’s mother? Was it an illusion from Betty? Will Betty be pushed somehow to remember Amber’s/ her history and past memories? Will Betty be saved? Amber cannot be saved, but what about the Betty version?
Or will Camila strike us once more with a cliffhanger too amazing to imagine..?
fear is dark orange, not pink. agate didn't reverse her trait then and there, she used the bete noire spell. only after using this spell a fear soul can turn pink. also, when agate was dying, it wasn't due to getting wounded, it was because her trait changed and her soul couldn't handle it.
Bravery sacrified her own soul to turn Amber in Betty. This is Why Bravery Soul Turn is pink. (i Think :D)

after seeing this, i had a thought. So, Amber had a blue AND Green heart. Integrity and Kindness. Now, i could be mistaken in this, so please correct me. Green/Kindness makes shields. Blue/Integrity makes objects that can easily slice through their target(this is the one i'm not sure of, but that's how it seems). Betty, who has the body(at least) of Amber, had done 2 things so far besides her fear abilities, making objects which easily pierce or slice, and making shields/barriers. So, i think it might be possible that Amber could still be in there... maybe... probably not... BUT IT'S A THOUGHT!
the other thought that i literally just thought of after writing that up there, was that since the Fear soul has the form of Amber, it uses abilities similar to what she would have.

I think Betty was born with a blue sole AK Amber but the wizard of kindness accidentally use a magical spell on Amber's soul and then Ambers soul turn into integrity and kindness and then the mother who was filled with Integrity got really upset that hate formed in her soul and then her so cracked and then she died and then the two siblings took care of the little sister which is Amber

agate gave herself the "bete noire" spell but her soul could not adapt to the sudden changes so agate gave amber her soul so amber could become the black beast... idk thats my theory
