Thank you very much, I successfully replaced my broken screen after watching your video. Special thanks for heads up what way to open the phone to avoid damage on ribbon cables. Most difficult part was to install an adhesive seal from the repair kit. It sticks to fingers, cabels but not the phone body. Finally I cut it into 4 pieces and applied them one by one. I think not every repair kit has it, I was ready to use a special glue from previous phone repairs.

@@elitesportsmedia there is an update! Recently I fixed another phone for my friend, it was an iPhone Xr. It is little bit different model, but I used your tip to open it like a old time "suit case", keeping in mind those ribbins. In the repair kit there is a magnet pad to keep those small screws and brakets in order, so it is much easier to assemble everything back. The magnet pad is the same, one side for iPhone 11, another for Xr. They are similar inside, that is why it is made as a one piece. Screwdrivers they provide not so good, they are usable, but I think I will get a professional set for the possible future projects. Happy friends talk to other people, and they start to inquire about that home degree mechanic, (me).

Hey my screen is cracked terribly after falling on the pavement. I see rainbow lines on half of the screen. I don't mind getting it fixed, but is it safe to keep using the phone still? What if there is a deeper battery damage? I am scared of it blowing up when I am using it? Is that a possibility?
It’s not gonna blow up those lines are just on the LCD if you can use it use it, it will only be a matter of time till you can’t touch anything anymore

I’m trying to look up the screen to buy online and it says several things : incell LCD and Digitizer glass replacement and other kits just say glass screen replacement. Which one should (I choose my daughters phone looks exactly the way the one you fixed in this video.) Thankyou for uploading this video. I had just spent money to fix the glass right before Christmas and I really don’t have the money for another repair at this time.

I replaced the screen on my son's iPhone 11 last week. It worked great at first, then it quit. I bought a new one and put it on today. I can tell that the phone is powered on because it vibrates when I click the mute button and makes a sound when I plug in the charger, however, the screen won't come on. Any ideas on what I can try next. Another screen?
Double check the lcd connection make sure there is no debris or anything blocking it. If every thing looks good and it clicks when you comment it you might of been sent a bad screen

But one question my friend 🙏🏼 everything shows excellent on screen and all but I noticed that my front camera shows all black like I probably broke a sensor on the inside or something? Yes try reconnecting the front top mic, it might just not be connected down like it should or it got damaged and just need a new one if you took the phone apart like the video

You get get them on Amazon for less than $10 then order a screen you can fix it for under $100 then you will know how to fix it again if it ever happens
Where did you get the LCD replacement from ? What was the type and price ? I’ve been reading about different kinds of replacement kits, and sone of them are good and some of them are not.
I get most of mine from 5 star buyers even if it’s a little more, don’t buy the cheapest you come across when looking for screens I also highly recommend gadget fix they are awesome

Uh does the face id still work? I did a screen repair on an iphone 6 and the touch id wouldn't work after and from the internet I came to the conclusion that it was bc the first thing you're supposed to do is to disconnect battery bc apparently it you unplug smth else first the phone technically still has power from the battery so it triggers it and then no more touch id. And I tried and couldn't get it working lol
Yes Face ID still works, double check the top mic sensors you disconnected that will cause the face if not to work if it got damaged some how, or maybe it’s not connecting down right

hey this might be a obvious question but would replacing the screen fix ghost touches ??? i’ve had on my 11 for a while and when i bought the phone from the previous owner it would say the screen wasn’t genuine in my settings….

I have something like this I hit the corner hard it’s cracked but the rest of my phone has liens on it that gos on and off and some of the phone has black spots.

I remember replacing the 5c a decade + ago and I had to completely remove the screen from the bracket in addition to all this. Like 40 screws.

Might try Reconnecting the screen, if it’s ghost touching the screen might be a defective and unfortunately might have to order another one I can send you a link to a good one if you want

What exactly do you mean, if your talking about the screen you have to use the exact screen your phone is, for example and iPhone X screen will not fit an xr. As far as the repair goes extremely similar in what you do the shields that screw dowm will just be shaped different but very very similar

Absolutely more than likely you just need a screen, I would charge the phone and then plug it into a computer if the computer shows iPhone connected then you just need a screen
Tim, my ZTE Z981 pro max volume down button is not working so I can't turn down volume with it and can't screenshot. The button feels normal when is pressed. It doesn't stick. What could be the problem and how do I fix it?
The problem happened seemed like after I swap out the loud speaker from my second ZTE to test out why there's NO AUDIO when speaker phone is on during a call and music is played. Audio can be heard in the earphone jack and if an external speaker is Bluetooth in, so the earphone speaker is ok. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would try reconnecting it, I have also seen where the screens brightness is turned all the way down for some reason, if you hold a flash light up to it you can make out the screen and try to turn brightness up. If still not having luck remove new scren and reattach old screen and see if the screen lights up usally even if broken you can make it out that’s it’s on. You could of bought a faulty screen it happens from time to time

If you wanna take of the old screen without struggling leave your phone about 10 to 5 percent of battery and shut it down and heat up your screen with a hair dryer because every iPhone has a special glue that prevents the screen to fall off and it’s much faster and safer if you do this way

hey my phone was maybe water damaged, the touch was glitching on the right side since 1 month. tomorrow red lines started appearing in the bottom right and that began to get bigger into a black dot, covers a part of the screen now. now the screen has white lines with ghosting. safe to use or should i switch it off till i get it fixed? water damage indicator is white.
Get the screen replaced , if you opened it try using some rubbing alchol on anything that looks water damaged the alchol dries quickly
