"Sim" games, such as Planet Coaster, SimCity, Planet Zoo, and more, usually have incredible soundtracks that really would blow your mind. Give em' a shot, especially the SimCity soundtracks.
I mean yeah, all they had to do was mix hipster neo-folk with simple pop melodies and toss in a "WHOOOAAA-OOAAOO-OOOO" here and there, and they have the perfect soundtrack that normies think sounds good

Yes! I'm doing my final project while listening to this! But it makes me want to go home and play.
I just started experimenting with building custom scenery for shops, queue lines and train stations. It really makes a difference and especially so when you're favorite track of this album rides along to keep you company.

This music is not just calming. It is inspiring, motivating, and each piece is a sheer masterpiece in its own way.
J.J. Ipsen's work on the Planet Zoo OST already captivated me, but his collaboration with Jim Guthrie.

Okay I actually can't express how much joy this game & music bring me 🥺 I'm 22 in my final year of uni and the pandemic has really hit me hard....last summer in lockdown I download this game using my boyfriend's GamePass and it literally took me back to my teenage years 😭 I used to visit theme parks all the time, was obsessed with coaster stats and designs...Thorpe Park was my second home...I played Thrillville off the rails religiously as a kid too....and man this joyful soundtrack just pulls the nostalgia out of the back of my brain, it's so fucking wonderful.

"You, Me & Gravity" (39:53) played in the game and I just had to look up the soundtrack for this game.
While I was a missionary serving in Guatemala, I listened to this songs daily and it help me to go through the 2 year back there.
So they have a special meaning to me.
The music brings out your inner kid self back letting your imagination run wild while building your own theme park

Roller Coaster Tycoon was one of my most favorite games in childhood. I love that developers of Planet Coaster have carefully preserved the atmosphere of the game ❤
I just love Theories of an Eager Heart so much especially from 5:27 , that guitar and the vocals give the most high sense of nostalgia, seriously, why does a rollercoaster game have such a beautiful soundtrack- this could surpass as a real music album you hear on TV or Radio.
I finally got around to buying the game, and while building a monstrous giga coaster, the soundtrack kicked in. This is it. This is perfect for the game and I instantly fell in love.

I think Planet Coaster has one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. I especially love how some of the songs have a Penguin Cafe Orchestra vibe, like “Aspect Imaginarium.” And it’s not just the tracks listed here - the music you can select to play during the rides is brilliant as well.
All the innocence and time spent without a care in the world. Youth happens and it only can happen once. May we all not live in regrets. Let's enjoy the present. Because we can never turn back time. Thank you for the music.
A theme park tycoon esc game has no reason to have a soundtrack that slaps so hard but it does and I'm all here for it I love it.
You can tell it's been made with so much love. I've been hooked right from the start.
This is my absolute favourite game soundtrack. Even better, it's a game about coasters! My 2 favourite things! I've got to say, Frontier put a lot of effort into this game and I love it to bits! It's the thing that originally got me interested in theme parks and look at me now! An enthusiast with a ton of knowledge. I just need to say thank you to Frontier for this wonderful game that inspired many of us to use our imagination to create the impossible.
I typically don't like music like this but I LOVE this soundtrack! It's like relaxation and happiness rolled into one.
This song was stuck in my head all day and I really love the course in the background for the mane theme.

As a guy that play the heck out of the first Roller coaster tycoon as a child I'd say it's an excellent game that follows the original formula of roller coaster tycoon perfectly, but I personally am too used to the 2d asymmetrical view of the original game, but that doesn't mean that the game has a bad soundtrack, seriously props to the developers for making such atmospheric and enlightening soundtrack.
I'm glad to see Planet Coaster getting its due love. It was depressing for the first year to see all the RCT3 fans cutting it down as if it wasn't going to get better and better with each release. Im finally able to get into it and its everything I wanted in a park sim.

Apparently there are multiple albums of soundtrack. One is Weighless, and the other is this. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
