Every firearm company does it, Springfield just got caught doing it. Here’s a quick quiz: Does Springfield Armory sell more guns under a 🔵 politician, or 🔴 politician? The correct answer is 🔵. The year after Obama was put into office, firearm sales increased by 2 million. His last term year difference to when he got in… 4 million. The year after Biden was put into office, firearm sales increased by 3 million. The year after Trump was put into office, firearm sales increased by only 400,000. Before you say “people just bought more guns every year.” No. Trumps 3rd year in office the gun industry only churned out 2,000 more guns then the year before Obama got in. It’s all about money. SA is based in Illinois. Illinois has strict gun laws. Get more blue politicians in & they make tons more of money. I recently bought a SA XDM 10mm & I’m soon going to add the Echelon to my collection. They make better guns then Glock, Taurus, and other firearm companies. One of the best firearm companies out there. Top notch quality firearms. The government can’t take our guns away, but they can put out fear for more firearm & ammo sales.
I too really like my Echelon. The thing I liked best was the trigger, for a out of the box trigger it is great. Mine came with a 4.5 lb. trigger which feels even better then that. This is a very well designed firearm. I have put a Holosun EPS on mine. Which I did in about 10 minutes. I am 76 years old and highly recommend this firearm.
New owner of the this model gun. Could anyone tell me about the safety on the gun? I’m assuming it’s engage when in up position and not on when in down position. Thanks
Really like my Echelon. It’s a great gun but I still prefer my Walther PDP. The PDP has a slightly better (buttery smooth) trigger, a better grip (for me), and a better slide release. The Echelon has better stock sights, 20 round magazines instead of 18 with the PDP, more stippling on the frame, maybe better slide serrations to grasp, a slightly more robust recoil spring, and a better optics setup on the slide. I bypassed the need for an adapter plate on my PDP’s by using a Holosun SCS that mounts directly and allows co-witness. Recently discovered the GunMagWarehouse and love doing business with you guys. As a fellow other handed person i like the fact that its fully ambi . FN gets it and now HS/Springfield do too. Is the grip angle pretty glockish? If so do the different back straps have the potential to change it?
How was it embarrassing? The XDM series was a mid 500 dollar pistol that came optics ready with a match barrel, fully supported chamber, grip and trigger safety, threaded barrel, loaded chamber indicator, and was very accurate with a lifetime warranty from Springfield. I have two and they are the best pistols I have owned and I own a lot including Sigs, CZ, Glock, H&K and Walther.
No offense but this statement "holds no water"...I own many Glocks and I love them, but Glock 17 MOS Gen 5 is $620-$699. Springfield Echelon is $600-$630 and it has amazing slide cuts/ trenches, modular chassis, stippling EVERYWHERE, frame undercuts, finger ledges/ gas pedal, comes with (2) 20 round mags out of the box, steel sights with tritium front or 3 dot tritium, comes with ability to mount over 30 optics WITHOUT plates, ambi mag release, and a better trigger than even my aftermarket Glock triggers...all of these features would be aftermarket upgrades on the Glock and would easily add $500 to the cost of buying the Glock MOS Gen 5! Not to mention SIG charges $650-$999 for the different versions of P320 and it doesn't have half of these features either...So how exactly is it overpriced again!? 🤣
Why buy a (the equivalent of a Turkish Canik copy) produced in Croatia….Making it even less appealing. For a couple extra bucks buy a real VP9, P320, P-10C, or even the smaller, high capacity (engineered perfection) XMacro. Springfield is synonymous with nothing more, nothing less.
I love the VP9 and have two X Macro pistols but heres the plain answer to your question lol Springfield Echelon is $600 and has amazing slide cuts/ trenches, modular chassis, stippling EVERYWHERE, frame undercuts, finger ledges/ gas pedal, comes with (2) 20 round mags out of the box, steel sights with tritium front or 3 dot tritium, comes with ability to mount over 30 optics WITHOUT plates, ambi mag release, and an AMAZING trigger. What about those features says "nothing more, nothing less"!?
I literally just bought a P365 X Macro & it came with an optic for $799, and I put a light on it. With the light it was $1200. With that being said the Echelon may soon replace it already for me. It has more grip textures, the built in thumb grip for better recoil, the U sight is better, and has more slide serrations for easier racking. I’m going to run it without a light & optic, which I think my Sig can do, but the Echelon has that much more & I’ll just carry a light with it… 🤷🏻♂️
You do know that Croatia is a European country just like Germany(HK) Czech Republic(CZ) Switzerland(Sig) unlike Turkey which is more of a Middle Eastern country.
HS Produkt's new gun looks cool.
I like the part when Springfield wanted gun control for everyone else but themselves.
Everyone seems to forget this fact for some reason.
#WeNeverWillForget
Since then they fired that lobbyist and have donated to pro gun organizations more than any other gun company.
LET IT GO! It’s been long enough!

Well at least we know if it’s made by HS Produkt, it’ll actually work at launch day

Love it and ordered it.

the grip angle is glockish and the back straps wont really have much of an effect on the grip angle.
Im really hoping to see more calibers and more sizes
same here!
I'm having a problem with the optics cover plate screws coming loose and one falling out every time I go to the range
Is the 5.2 inch the threaded only or dose the 4.7 inch also come in threaded?
Who’s the manufacture for the holster that you carries for the echelon
Shoots great! Just picked mine up.
Got to try it out today, very nice Gun
Looks great.
What holster were you using at the beginning of the video?
PHLster Universal OWB Floodlight TLR-1 Holster
Need to replace polymer recoil spring rod with metal one. Polymer breaks. Just ask my Beretta PX4 Storm.
You were talking about thumbs down, thumbs forward, "big grip." Did you notice a hot spot on your thumb from the slot release?
Nope!
I think Springfield needs to bring back the XDM .40S&W 5.25
nobody wants 40S&W and the XDM was such an embarrassing handgun they're replacing it with this line.

That price is too high.

This will flop harder than Indiana jones
I bet it won't.
It will flop if they don't produce different sizes and different calibers otherwise the modularity doesn't make sense
I bet you’re carrying your mediocre block as we speak & did so while commenting this… 😔
No I took my block off and left it on your mom"s nightstand right before I gave her a child she can be proud of.@@tehclefty5317
