  • Mako at SeaWorld Orlando is the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Orlando. Enjoy this POV and off ride footage of this incredible ride by Bolliger and Mabillard. The hypercoaster reaches 200 feet and speeds over 70 mph along almost a mile of track.
    Mako does not go upside down but instead relies on negative G's to create an awesome out-of-your-seat zero-g sensation. It is a smooth and awesome ride that many consider the best Hyper coaster in the World and best roller coaster in Orlando.
    Filmed with the new GoPro Hero Max, a 360-degree camera.

    This has to be the best cinematic ever made for any coaster period!! Some amazing quality shots of Orlando’s best coaster

    This is beyond the best footage I've ever seen as far as POV is concerned. I've never liked POV, the view where it appears that the camera is sitting right on top of the track. This changes that forever! I really hope we start seeing WAY more of this. I could really get a sense of the airtime on those hills.

    I've just watched this over and over not only for the amazing out & back coaster experience but MOSTLY for that vocal bliss reaction expressed from the male backseat rider at the 3rd camelback hill @ 2:02-2:04 filled with airtime...
    I FELT that floater airtime with you man!!!✊

      Jason McLemore thanks! Can’t wait to do more coasters! Already planning what positions to be in for certain turns 😂

      @@AmusementInsider It definitely is different for sure! It was like those POV drone videos that's out now that are flying alongside coasters. Just having your hand ever so slightly out of the car will give a very different perspective with that 360. Can't wait to see more!

      The Ride Analyst thanks. It looks even cooler with inversions. I have a kraken one but am not happy with how a few elements look and want the one-take video, so I’m headed back to try and get it right. Soon!

    Was the dynamic POV filmed on a 360° camera? Also I just wanted to say this is truly some of the best off ride footage I’ve seen!

    • @janpenner2002
      @janpenner2002 4 года назад +1

      Yes it was filmed on a 360° cam. If you pause at 2:59 you can see where the algorithm cut two seperate cam views together

    I know a lot of people will disagree with me, and I think the cinematography is great but at the end of the day it looks really, really weird for a POV.

    How do you get those shots? I understand how to get those with a good 360 camera and a selfie stick, but how do you do that on a coaster? There is no way they would allow that. The cops would be waiting at the end or they would stop the ride immediately at one of the block brakes. Unless they had some kind of new rig full of 360 camera and some really good software to make the entire rig disappear, in post.

      oppinoy it’s mounted on my wrist and sometimes just takes 3-4 visits to make sure my hand is out of the way once I figure out how I want it edited. You can see the shadow of it on the lift hill, it’s not the most comfortable thing to have my wrist bent all weird the whole ride, and the ride ops always look at me funny when I do them.

    How did you film that? Was it allowed by the park ?as I cringed every time the camera skimmed a support!😂

    • @AmusementInsider
      @AmusementInsider  4 года назад +2

      # Thrillworks it’s on my wrist, I just reached and the wide angle makes it seem closer than it is👌. Yep allowed, it’s mounted around my hand and wrist. Hope to do some more soon

      AmusementInsider That’s so cool they allow it. Does it have to be go pro brand? I thought I heard something about that with an amusement park chain but I can’t member which one

    • @AmusementInsider
