@@li__suarez Have you played Final Fantasy IX? It has great FMVs like Chrono Cross, great music, very good combat and progression system, great characters, and much better writing. Overall FF9 is just a better game IMO.
I stared playing this game when I was 16 I'm 41 now my grandfather bought it for me it took me over a year to finish it...I spent hours in front of that tv...thank you grandpa I miss you......unbelievable my kids don't even want to try play it....legend of Zelda ocarina of time on Nintendo old console love it aswell
this was one of those games that you can just keep coming back to over and over, I remember I played it so much that I had 9,999,999 gold and elements were stacked and full open element slots, and had multiple endings, but there was still one character that I never managed to get and I've not gotten all the ending, like the director ending I believe it's called.

Also the beach theme. And the whole thing of Serge being actually dead in one of the dimentions. There are many parallels, the games were in development around same time, so the teams might've shared some ideas

I think Chrono Cross has much better graphic style than a lot of modern games... ...Because even cartoonish and anime-ish games tend to tone down the colors, which Chrono Cross didn't and got one of the most beautiful visuals... Also, silicon CGI is much better than modern CGI.

Both of these scenes are not separate cutscenes. They are cuts specifically made for the opening movie. It's not simply a compilation of different cutscenes, they also made some original cuts for it that aren't anywhere else in the game.
+max power I think the studios merged with other studios and in the process separated from within, lost members, leading to copyright issues that came later, etc. Don't recall the whole deal. I think there's a few anime OVAs out there tho, for the original game's story at least.
NEO Dark Hahaha when the game launched a lot of people were trying to find out who she was and all anyone found out was she's from a modeling agency, anyways the writer or maybe the director did it on purpose, in one of their interviews he talks about it and mentions how the game was meant to inspire the person and to go out into the world and have an adventure, meet friends and live, schala, or the girl at the end, is supossed to mean that the girl you'll have an adventure with is out there in the real world. It's to romanticize the idea that your perfect girl is out there. Anyways Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are in my top favorite list even till this day, personally I like Cross better than Trigger, if you've never played it you can find PS emulators with everything needed and also the game, normally I'd say don't pirate the game but I don't think they care much at this point.
