My daughter told me my ex had a mild heart attack due to prolonged stress having to work long hours to make ends meet....it made me think of all the things you spoke about. Right now I'm sitting in the forest drinking water and enjoying the sunshine, nobody around for miles. I hope my ex can find some countryside and forget things for a while
Sat by the lake yesterday while on a walk with my dog simba. His ears perked up and i noticed there was a mother black bear and three little cubs following her on the shore. Made my day. A beautiful site. Forest trees starting to change now. Canada geese started to fly south this morning. Have a great day from northern ontario
Nice video. Every morning without fail i go out and feed the birds then make tea for me and my wife and then i sit in the bedroom bay window and watch them feed. Sets me up for tye day.
We have been feeding generations of a crow flock in our back yard. They call to us and fly by our windows if we are late to feeding them in the morning. I have put out water baths for them to play in and it is so cool watching them accept our offering of friendship. And they guard our yard when stray dogs and cats wonder through.
Living in a DT city locale, I'm battling noise all the time - engines of all type whirring away which can be stressful. Despite this, I can find nature in parks and gardens for peace. Nature must be cared for.
My preparation for the day is always started with a gentle exercise, up down, up down, and then I do the other eye. Seriously, some days you just feel everything is in order, no one is demanding of you and basically the day's your own, but, you can also predict that you will bump into someone and you will make the mistake of asking how they are, you just know you will never get that hour back again and the rest of the day is filled with someone else's problems.
@@primalengland I have always lived thus. But, as I am old now I do feel that little vein on my temple pulsate as they walk away without once asking me how I am. I feel the need to be more curmudgeonly, perhaps just at weekends to start with.
Us humans think the countryside belongs to us,when in fact we share it with many different creatures.I was walking along our canal in Barnsley, when I saw a sign that the fishing club had put up stating that herons and a species of geese had been spotted on the canal and if seen please contact the fishing club as they cause damage to the fish and they are trying to get a law passed in parliament to destroy these birds.I was absolutely fuming these birds are eating to survive as we humans are destroying their natural habitats. Its more cruel to stick the fish in a crowded net and deprive them of oxygen .It just makes my blood boil.Enjoying your videos.👍
I believe we are programmed at birth with basic software. I have been to NYC (upgraded software)on 3 occasions. The first time, I was in shock. Sensory overload. Each time, I was less affected. I enjoy quiet and nature (basic software) to the point it is a requirement. Working in a factory for 30 years has taken a toll on me, mentally, emotionally, and now physically. For what gain. Money, titles, prestige? We are taught upgraded software for everything is better. Bigger house, bigger car, bigger lifestyle, it all has a cost for an upgrade. For me, the benefits have not outweighed the cost.
I worked in a mill for almost 39 years and I know how you feel. The last several years was getting to me. I wish when I was younger I would have known how things were going to be later on. I’ve been retired for a year and a half now and the longer I’ve been away from people the more I want to be away from them. Wish I could have lived simpler and saved more money all those years.
There's a beautiful little park close to me that's right on the river - it's so lovely to sit there and just watch the water, some mornings it looks like silver glass with gold and mist on it. I've learned to stick mostly to the mornings, though, because in the afternoon, inevitably someone puts their dumb music on and ruins the peace - yes, I came here for the express purpose of listening to your dopey music, who needs the peace of nature when there's this music 🙄lol
Noise pollution, it’s hard to escape these days. Some people need their tv on because they can’t handle quiet. These are not my people 😊 Sometimes I feel like I was born a century or two too late.
I'm in full agreement as usual Nigel! My day starts with my cup of coffee and a bit of time with a crossword or sudoku. I refuse to answer the phone, knocks on the door or messages from anyone, including my lovely daughters at this time. After that I'm ready to face the world - however much of a mess humans have made of it.
Just try small parks first. Find a route where you live, meander down the roads, and side streets. I do that takes me 40 mins for me. I try to vary where I walk. And do it twice a day.

Loud talking on a mobile phone in a public place is my bugbear why folk have no insight that not everyone wants to listen to their conversations, I was in the doctors the other day and a woman received a phone call, it was that loud that when an old chap approached the receptionist he couldnt hear a word she was saying had his cupped to ear and ended up frustrated and walked out. The phone call woman was totally oblivious to the volume of her voice and the annoyance of others around her.
