It is quite simply unfair how good Shoocharu is at capturing the energy of Ninja Sex Party songs. The power. The poise. The subtle jokes. Every time I watch I see something new.
I love the license plates, and I really agree that Shoocharu captures the imagination and energy of the band. I love the older stuff but NSP has gotten sooooo much better over the years.

What truly sells this song for me is the unparalleled confidence and commitment in Dan's voice. Like you really need to be completely in and believable for this song to work. SO GOOD!
There's something so relatable about Dan staring at the well thought out list of things he was expecting to be guessed besides car. It's similar to the feeling of having a joke so funny in your head that just doesn't land with anyone.

4 months down the line and I think this has become my favourite NSP song. The whole 'bragging about something which isn't that special' thing is so funny already, but then you go and throw in "the cup holder holds anything as long as it's a cup" and then the competition just ends.

That was exactly my feeling when I heard this song, too. Every time I hear the beginning of this song in a playlist, I have a fleeting thought it's a song from like 1987.
Out of most celebrities I relate most to Dan. He is humble and doesn't make it seem like he has everything. He appreciates the little things in life, and no matter how much money is made in our lives, we need that humbleness. That being said, He has a car!

I give a genuine laugh at that (F)antastic joke every rewatch and Shoocharu continues to excel at interpretive storytelling during musical interludes. From parents house roller disco to the max max parody of this one, the creativity oozes through. Love these animated MVs :)

I can definitely hear some growth in musicianship since the last album and COVID, Dan, Brian and Jim more so than TWRP. The production, songwriting, and Dan's vocals sound really good.

NSP's fabulous lifestyle never ceases to leave an impression, even if it's on the nearest lamppost.
This whole video gives such a old early 2000's feel.
The video framing, the colors, the effects, even the animation style.
I was confused at first when i saw it, because we all know how well Shoocharu can animate, and this animation is so simple (compared to his other music videos) it reminded me of his game grumps early comedy shorts.
That is when I realized it was all intentional, becuase the song itself gives this sensation of being your 20's in the 2000's
