There's truly nothing like acceptance; it is very important to accept things that cannot change, accept failure, accept limitations etc... it wont solve depression just like that, but it's the first step toward self healing. Very important lessons from these episodes.
"Its like there is no right thing." This line deeply resonated with me & ive been feeling for Ruby this entire volume. I'm 31 years old & over the last couple of years of my life I became unsatisfied with my life so far. I dont like where I am jobwise, educational wise. I don't like where I am on a physical AND personal/mental level & have been struggling to do the "right thing" to get me on the "right path". But this whole volume has me taking a step back & reevaluate that hey maybe things aren't so bad. Im healthy, i have great friends & things could be ALOT worse then they are now, its all about acceptance just like some have said before. Just gotta keep trucking on but in good health of course.
only one path exists: yours. for each of us, we have our own path, to recognize who we are and play our part. not a part laid out for us, not one given to us, but one we create ourselves. many of us lose sight of who we are in order to feel accepted and loved, but at the end of the day, you will have to stand for yourself. to despise the sight in the mirror shows the lacking in that part, that piece of unique development.
Yeah, it really throws you for a loop when you realize that the reason the book painted such a sympathetic picture of Alyx is because LEWIS wrote it. John was right about the Cat but wrong about the tree and Alyx, but he was wrong because he was missing vital pieces of information, so it's not really his fault. The conclusions that he drew based on what he knew seemed pretty plausible at the time.
Pretty light episode considering the horror of what came before but that's probably for the best. Hang in there, Ruby. Your almost to the light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m honestly thinking that the tree truly isn’t malevolent, and only wants to help people become the self they want to be, with everything so far having a theme of change, decision, and of course, acceptance. All the while the tree wants to build a story built around the heroes themselves. And yes, the whole scene with the Genial Gems was beautiful and heartwarming🥹, it gives me some hope for Little coming back.❤
It’s crazy all that’s happened since Pira died & this episode was great I like Ruby actually talking what she’s feeling out cause it’s just gotten darker and darker and we’ve seen eveyone have their own story inside their character Blake, Yang & Weiss happy we’re getting a Ruby focused story finally. Like we know Yang & Blake’s family & their struggles, even Weiss & gotten deep dives into them
oooh...right. Summer steps out of the tree, subdues the cat, and have a mother-daughter talk with Yang. (and possibly another with ruby in her head). then, when the transfer happens, Ruby is the one stepping out. Much as I'd prefer ruby stepping from the tree with her mother's emotional maturity, it would probably be worthwhile to see Summer speak with her 'replacement'. :) If we leave this season with nothing more than narration from Summer, I'll be quite miffed.
RWBY Volume 10 Series Renewal with just as Much Character's for solely hopefully Team RWBY's Characters Development even more Amazing RWBY Anime TV Series moments and hopefully more episodes then RWBY's Volume 9 Season had for this New RWBY Volume!

The subtle Red Like Roses quote in the music during the last few Ruby scenes is just perfect.
