I like that the blacksmith put the question to her. "How do you measure 'enough'?" Because thats the hardest part to admit, that even your heroes, are still just as flawed as anyone, that they keep working, trying to do better, reaching for growth rather than stagnation. So what is being enough? Strength to win? Strength is trained and learned and earned.
3:55 I'm pretty sure CRWBY knows just about every reactor small and large, they just like seeing everyone go through the 5 stages of grief lol, but they do mean well no matter how diabolical they seem :P
The entire scene direction & the peaceful harmonious music with the Genial Gems and seeing Ruby's Chrysalis was so beautiful. I love how the Blacksmith is the personification of a therapist. The Blacksmith never influences Ruby on what she SHOULD do, simply presents Ruby with her choices and lets her decide for herself. Presenting her with the "tools" to shape herself. This is what a therapist does! They help untangle the knots of your issues in order for you to recognize the problem and sort it out yourself. They help you help yourself. The Blacksmith allowed Ruby to vent the emotions she kept bottled up to cope with her losses. Offering her a safe place to do so without actually intervening on Ruby's emotional breakdown. Just leaving Ruby alone with her inner thoughts to sort out. Which Ruby wasn't allowed to do because she kept getting interrupted, or didn't want to open up at the time. CRWBY did award winning work with the portrayal of mental health issues and just how easy it can be to get into and just how dark they can go, and that it's nothing to be ashamed of for having, and that you are not to blame for having them. And also, the proper way to start healing your mental state with therapy. Also, I'll be looking forward to watching your RWBY Vol. 9 Soundtrack covers! 🎧
Last week: "Why did I schedule my therapy BEFORE RWBY?" This week: "Why has this volume become my therapist?" At least you're meeting with your therapist during RWBY instead of before it?
"When did my channel become a mental health channel?" **Looks at list of videos that are almost entirely RWBY V9** Pretty much immediately? Killing it tho 👍
It is awesome that the CRBY know you! Hell one of them is new this volume and she has been a fan and reactor sine volume 2-3! She went to college to become a computer animator and is now part of Rooster Teeth! How awesome is that? Hell Barb and Gavin were fans that became RT and that is just amazing!
As you were talking I was reminded of a line of Ruby’s from volume 2 when she tells Penny, “we’re in a time of peace.” She didn’t attend Beacon to fight a war. She ONLY wanted to kill monsters and help people. Just because she wanted to be a Huntress doesn’t mean she wanted THIS.
Knowing that you've grown up with these characters and grown along with these characters, it must be something to see them deal with personal struggles that relate to you so deeply. But just as Weiss (basically) said, having imperfections doesn't mean you aren't both brave and good. Call it a hunch, but I think that, like the girls of team RWBY, you can overcome anything. Just keep moving forward. 😊
While the last two episodes left me with angst leading in to your reactions, but was actually looking forward to this one. Just watched the finale and I can’t wait for you to do so. I felt this season started slow but it’s by far the best story arc of the series by far.
I like this hostess. She didn't scream and talk the whole time like the other reactions. The men are screaming into mics, and they volume louder than the film. She didn't gossip, trying to guess whats gonna happen. Just wanna say thanks cause if your watching it for the first time and all you got is someone reaction video, you cant hear the story cause they yapping the whole time.
Buy and watch the Crossover with Justice League. And of course that is something for you to react too. I need to find the Crossover comics and get them. And buy some Ruby books. Need with professionals get a better saying than "it's not your fault " because if it really unarguably is their fault that might harm. Or they just deluded into it being their fault strong enough they will reject the message. Maybe you are loved, I care if your ok, you are forgiven. Don't know if any or all of these should be used.

If changing was easy, it wouldn't need to hurt so much, that's why it's called growing pain. This (and the next) episode are so beautiful for that

"And how would you measure... enough?" Is a line I wasn't expecting, but it hit me hard.
This and the finale both hit me right in the heart
@@ave_r_ie we could all use a Blacksmith Mom in our lives

This ending credits soundtrack can really put someone's mind at ease I absolutely love it❤❤❤

My alarm for today was “last meeting with second therapy”

I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE FUN IN WONDERLAND NOT DEPRESSION IN WONDERLAND!
@@ave_r_ie I could only imagine how you would've handled this if you were reacting when V3 was first coming out

6:31 finally we get to hear what summer rose's voice sounds like and she almost sounds a lot more like those comic dub that I watch that involve her

Loved your reaction 😊☺. Looking forward to see you react to the final episode. 🙂😀
I didnt know what to say, summers weapon is a switch axe DMT rifle.... Freaking hybrid of monster hunter and destiny.
Like I've said many times: damn, you're a good singer!

I plan on trying to react to JL X RWBY, but WB may not let me
Wait, that's actually part of the RWBY lore and wasn't a "just for fun thing because it sounded cool" thing?
@@GraveDigger35 It's not fully cannon, but it's not just purely for crossover. It actually was pretty good.
