    I am not a musician, i am just a guy who looks at synthesizers and is just impressed. I bought Cubase after Dr. Mix mentioned that it was his favorite DAW. But the simplest Version, then upgraded to "Artist" when Steinberg had a special offer. Now i am saving money for Pro. Which doesn't make much sense, since i only can press buttons and have no instrument knowledge sofar.
    HOWEVER: I learned much from YOU and i am impressed over the functions of Cubase that you explained. I get what those do. Now i have to learn keyboard. And Musical Theory.

    • @DomSigalas
      @DomSigalas  Год назад +1

      Hi Mike! That probably deserves a full video but here's the short answer: I still have my PC in another room for my assistant. But I've finally (last week!) switched to Mac.
      I am currently on an M1 Max Macbook Pro and will probably go for a Mac Studio or Mac Pro (they were just announced).
      I am not a loyalist when it comes to platforms -I always use a mixture of both, but at the moment, when it comes to a combination of stability/performance/availability and overall experience when using the OS, I am leaning more towards the Mac side.
      This Macbook blows away my i9 PC by a large margin. So I was shooting myself in the foot by not switching to it. I don't like having a laptop as my main machine though hence Mac Studio/Pro is what I will consider next. Bear in mind, I also do a lot of video work and there, I am 100% in favour of a Mac system- so having one machine that does everything is a big plus for me :)
