    EDIT: I still stand by this mouse as being amazing BUT, Lamzu needs to address a click latency issue ASAP. The first click after lifting the mouse and setting it back down will have roughly 20ms of extra latency, which is unacceptable for a high performance mouse. I do think it's excellent in every other way, but that's a huge issue that needs to be addressed.
    Part of why ended up with the Maya X is from watching your video, and man, it did not disappoint. Just recently tried out my old GPX superlight for the hell of it, and despite loving that mouse for the past few years, I know for sure I can never go back. It's a strict upgrade for me in all but battery life, but i haven't actually had it die yet, so that's not really an issue. If you're someone who is familiar and likes the GPX shape, I can't recommend the Maya X enough.

    • @Frozoken
      @Frozoken 15 дней назад +1

      I don't recommend it anymore. I was in the same boat as you and really liked it but something felt a little off and inconsistent with it which techpowerup just pinpointed. There's a bug where everytime you lift the mouse your next click will get 20ms of latency added to it no matter if you set it down after or not.
      Until lamzu both acknowledges and commits to fixing the bug I can't recommend it.

    • @orionizaqt

      @orionizaqt A community manager said they're looking into it so just keep on the lookout for any updates.

Just in my head I know I have the most responsive mouse possible. On both my other mice X2 mini and Viper V3 pro I only use 2k because 8k eats battery so quickly it's unsustainable on wireless, it's annoying af.

    • @MrR3DP4ND4
      @MrR3DP4ND4 10 дней назад

      @@arn0ld4s35 I mean personally? I think the performance above 1k to be negligible. It won't make you much better, and many games struggle to support the highest refresh rate mice. I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze. People were killing it on the WMO years ago which runs at 125hz lol. Obviously things are much different now, but I'd be shocked if going from 1k to 4k or 8k made any actual improvement to your gameplay

      @richboii6597 15 дней назад

      @@mustypipes6602what do you mean by less tapered? I assume you mean from back to front? The sides on the op1 are about as flat as you can get while the xm2 has an extreme taper from top to bottom. I also own both and the xm2 feels huge compared to op1 but that’s mainly due to the op1 feeling small. It also doesn’t have sidewalls on the clicks which combined with the extreme taper makes finding room for your ring and pinky challenging. I also think the clicks are better on the op1w 4k compared to the really firm and loud clicks of the xm2w 4k. It would be pretty hard for me to recommend an xm2 as a “larger” op1 as other than hump profile I feel like these mice are very very different.

      For 60 bucks the build feels solid, specs are impressive and the software is lightweight (web driver or downloadable app without install). Comes in at 43 grams but you can propably get that down to 41 with dot skates.

    I can't believe how bonkers people have gone with the wire on a mouse still. As if we have never had to play with a wire before. To each there own but this is just a fact, wire will always out perform wireless. It can always be lighter due to not needing a battery, less alterations in the shell to get to the targeted weight. No need to charge. No frequency interference. My opinion, with wireless you get the unbound perception that the wire had been holding you back this whole time. Just seems to me there is very little extra or better with the wireless experience. You spend more but ultimately get less. Raw numbers bare this out. Am I crazy?

    Waizowl does produce quality products but man the shapes aren't it... even though my hands are big enough to use the Cloud I just find the XM2W to be a much better shape.

    ASUS ROG Harpe Ace is my main. It was previously Viper Ultimate/V2. I found I prefer more of a rear hump with a flatter top. Anyone know something similar to the Harpe?
