They nailed Soundboard Opie good. Ant: "I honestly used to really try to think out the ones I was doing, not just randomly hit them to make noise." Jim: "You mean, you were trying to create something, and not be like, let's just say, someone with Aspergers and a hammer at a piano?"
Back in the K-Rock days, Opie would CONSTANTLY do soundboard shit. Like if they were playing a news clip he would play a million soundboard drops over it that weren't relevant at all. Homer Simpson, Death Wish, Family Guy, etc. It was pretty much unlistenable. Then he had a million excuses for why their ratings were so low and they were fired.
Soundboard Opie is by far the thing I hate most about the guy. I listen to old O&A shows on RUclips and it's absolutely embarrassing when Opie is just hitting random clips over something you actually want to hear.
It's fine when it's just once and it's a relevant clip, like someone says something tragic and you hear Homer laughing raucously, but those were the exceptions, not the rule.
@@E101ification it's because the poor guy literally had nothing to contribute to any topic there discussing.. His only contribution to the show is just randomly pressing soundboard buttons.

Lowclef meh not that much though Trump and Opie are two people who couldnt be less self aware if they tried. I never listened to O & A because, quite frankly, I did not think they were funny. After they broke up I find Anthony incredibly entertaining and interesting. I wonder if he wishes they would have broke up earlier? I don't know why but I am fascinated with everyone trashing Opie.

I loved the show!! Opie definitely wasn't the reason I tuned in but where was all this when Opie was on the show? It kinda seems like some of what Opie's was saying about the girly back stabbing was maybe true?
When you go into work tomorrow go tell your boss you think he's shit at his job. It won't go well, I promise. Is it kind of petty to do? Yeah but let's not pretend this sort of thing doesn't happen with everyone. It just doesn't generally get broadcasted over the radio. And before anyone says Opie wasn't the boss, we all know he held that studio hostage and considered himself the one in charge from the very beginning.

Opie bashing will never get old. He was told a lot of things to his face, but his lack of self awareness diverted it into.. It's just hate. This titted monstrosity caused the termination, suicide, and countless other problems for those around him. Opie is the common denominator, between all the old staff that had issues. Opie truly is a piece of shit in my opinion, and humor is probably the best route for these guys to get it out. Opie deserves it, Opie deserves much more, and everyone has stated publicly many times, how Opie helped them. Picture this... You were robbed, and left for dead. You have no money, and someone buys you food. They them rape you for 3 days. Is it ok because they helped You? No. Opie raped our ears for years.
