BoostedSamuari most people use a stick or try to source a hood strut that doesn’t put so much pressure on the hood when it’s closed. You’ll have to search the gen coupe forums like this www.gencoupe.com/threads/hood-struts-for-carbon-fiber-hoods.745614/ for part numbers etc.
The 2.0 only has one cat. You should replace the stock cat with a 3 inch O2 housing and a 3inch downpipe. (Keep the stock cat and downpipe handy just Incase you live in a state that does emissions testing).
And I was thinking of getting a downpipe (3inch) that would replace my second cat. But them I realized I didn’t have one. I don’t really want to touch the first cat bc I know it’ll throw a cel.
BoostedSamuari that “2nd cat” is a resonator, that’s what people replace with a test pipe. In most cases the 3 inch downpipe connects to the res pipe and is not long enough to replace the Resonator, which is why a test pipe is added.
2:05 you mentioned Rohens, that actually not a brand or anything that’s what the Genesis coupes are called in China “rohens coupe” you’ll probably see a bunch of cheap Chinese parts on eBay and stuff that say rohens
So I recently got it. My first manual and coupe at that. I already knew how to drive manual. But that was a couple of years ago after driving auto for a while. So from I got the car, I’ve been relearning and getting used to driving manual. I got it now. So for now i haven’t done any mods mods yet. Only th omg I’ve done is replace the rear sway bar link. I’ll be replacing the valve cover gasket soon. But next week I’ll be getting some exterior mods for the car
If i go for wheels im gonna do this set up ---} ruclips.net/video/MeD3JXETfgE/видео.html he ran: fronts-225/40 +15 rear-265/30 +15 But i would do, the fronts-235/35 +15, and rears-255/35 +15
Nice vid man hope to see more content on the build!
Yup got some more parts will be installing them soon in a vid
5:10 btw you don’t have any struts for the hood because if you run a strut on a carbon fibre hood it’ll warp over time etc
So what would be used for a strut in replacement? Or should I continue to rock the removable strut lol

Hey man did the hood really take 4-12 weeks to arrive? Also what was the website you used

Wait really? This guy on RUclips his name is AC auto I think. And his auto 2.0 had a second cat, cause he did an turboXs downpipe install.

BoostedSamuari if you get a tune (Alphaspeed) then they turn of the cel. I would get a stock ecu and keep it handy as well for emission purposes.
BoostedSamuari that’s a resonator, which people replace with a testpipe.

You should do rev 9 coilovers
Yea? How well do they ride?
Like every other coilover if the preload is set correctly.

I’ll be installing a new lip, rear diffuser, oem track wing, tail lights and maybe a custom headlight.
Avid 1 does not make those wheels in 10.5 wide lol

That intercooler is worse than stock its the same size as stock recommend getting a better one if you plan to make power.
Really😪? The previous owner installed it so I might have to get a bigger one
@@boostedsamuari7436 stay away from mishimoto and id ditch that radiator as well they develope leaks they are a nightmare.
