I can't move that much on my tiny 22ft when the bag is up :) Looked great and it's been a great day out as long as everyone had fun.

I used to be bow on a 40 footer, we only had one pole, two poles are interesting! The woman in the white top is your MVP!

Only one pole. It's a dip pole gybe. What may look like a second pole is the furled jib.

Thanks for watching! The boat has a pole, it's a dip pole gybe. She is an awesome crew member. Cheers!

Main halyard & outhaul are both too tight for downwind sailing.

Why would you trip the pole when you haven't even gibed? You tripped and you were still on a reach. You didn't turn the boat until the new guy was made on the other side. Bad timing and execution. In that light air and at that angle you should be able to gibe without a wrinkle in the chute. Slow turn down, square the pole back, only call "trip" when the boom's over, then big ease (2 feet or so) on the old sheet to bring it in to the bow man. That'll straighten things out for you. And get that tactician out of the stern when your down wind. Geeze!

that was a classic Chinese jibe, the boom was just toggled over, not guided through, as it should have been, more risk of throwing a crew overboard, or giving them a concussion.
