You did a great job Michelle! I think I know what the problem is. You said that you were mixing in metallics alcohol inks with the UV resin? UV resins worst enemy is alcohol. We use alcohol to clean it up. I tried it not knowing and some of my pieces ended up sticky or soft inside. I found if I kept doing a top coat so it was sealed it was salvageable. Since then I only use resin liquid pigments or mica powders with UV. Daniel Cooper is a great example of uv resin testing and trying new techniques. I love watching him too. Hope this helps!
Those all turned out really nice. I didn't think the ocean 1 would be quite so pretty but wow you made it look amazing. As always, thank you for sharing. :)
******** What I have done is cut my big jewelry molds in half so they can fit in my new curing UV light so it would fit and light can reach top and bottom. These turned out really pretty Thank you for the reviews
Hi Michelle. I saw Marva use these from MarvelousArtsy also , so I checked into those metallic inks you both were using. The reason they have black in there because these inks are made to give you that space look.
Michelle, I liked every single one of them! But I had no expectations or vision of what to expect. That changes the way you see them. And the fact that you’re not feeling that great doesn’t help! Go to bed and get some rest! Thanks!
Michelle I watched Daniel Cooper do this. And when he was dropping the nail gel and he was using very small amounts. That made the your problem. I hope you can figure it out. Have a blessed day god bless
I actually really liked that blue with the gold. That looked intentional and loved how it turned out. They all did. I used to use this resin. I think I’m going back to it. I have to much problems with the lets resin not curing that great.
Thanks for the review Michelle, they do look good after top coat.I struggle with sticking on my uv pendants sometimes would love to know what you think is best to resolve that.🎉🎉
That's cool to know I noticed the thinness compared to the one I'm using - so may order some - but just wondering if you can mix UV resins like you can using different ordinary for different layers - hmm I know what I mean just not sure I'm saying it right lol 😂
Rhinestones fix everything. Or as I say if it’s broke throw some sparkle at it. lol The UV resin seems to be pretty good. Watch some of Daniel Coopers videos. He’s a resin mad scientist. The topcoat made a difference. Very nice.
You forgot the magnet. 😅 I guess they come with theblack already mixed in? That way you don't have to add a layer of black? Oh geez, starting to sound like. 😂 These are really cool, though. I've seen the starry colors around now I know what they look like.
I’m still watching the video, but I thought I’d pipe in about that divot (indentation). I think it has to do with the gel nail polish you swirled in. It’s probably a soak-off gel polish, so it’s not the same chemical makeup as the uv resin. It looks like it sank to the bottom of the mold where the indentation is. That may have caused it.
Don't mix alcohol ink with UV resin. All the manufacturers say this. Your results don't do the resin or the inks justice. In fairness you owe Lightwish a clarification in the video as the title of the video says it is a review. This is especially true if you are getting free stuff from them.
LOL, with the shimmer glitter, it looks more like mountains in a windy snow storm and stars in the sky 😁 I like it!!
I really enjoyed this video. They small pendent with the one piece of glitter looked like a moon on the horizon. ❤❤
The one with the piece of glitter looks like an alien sun set/rise. I like it!❤
The glitter looked more alien😢

Hmmm I use alcohol ink a lot in UV resin without problems 🤔
I’m behind the eight ball Michelle!! 😂 They look great!! ❤❤❤
interesting and creative Michelle. Thank you for the video🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
LOVE that first little one you did ❤❤
Very nice, they turned pretty. Thanks for sharing different products ❤
That long oval when where the colors just blended so beautifully is incredible. I myself would love to have that one❤
Had I known earlier I would’ve sent it to you! It went out with an order already 🥴😬
Thanks for reviewing this resin the pendants are pretty
Those all turned out really nice. I didn't think the ocean 1 would be quite so pretty but wow you made it look amazing. As always, thank you for sharing. :)
Thanks so much 😊
I know it wasn't your favorite, but the pink and gold one is my favorite! They came out cute!
You are very hard on yourself. I think they are all, pretty! The round pink and gold was my favorite. Thanks for the experimenting! 💐❣️
I really like them. Turned out great! 👍☺️
Really pretty. Favorites are the last multi colored ones. ❤❤

I really like those alcohol inks! I'm already thinking of how they will look with regular resin. Thanks for sharing 😁
Great review…beginning with uv resin…got these molds and I feel an adventure coming on…thanks and Merry Christmas!😋💯❤️
They look great.
My 3 favorites are the 2 tear drop ones and best in show goes to the big oval one that you said you liked 👍 😊❤😊

I figured that out after the fact LOL! Merry Christmas Marilyn!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Lol Merry Christmas to you & your husband ! ☃️🎄
What's one thing you'll never hear Michelle say: "Glitter and/or rhinestones won't fix that!" And in some cases rhinestones fix the glitter! hahaha
😂😂😂 LOL

Thank you! I'm feeling much better!
Fun dudes

I’m not sure what you mean? Can you explain more? 😊
Michelle have you watch Daniel Cooper. HE is the crazy uv resin dude. Fun techniques you may like.
I got a tip from Daniel to put sticky UV pieces in water with the curing light on. It works!
Yes I’ve seen him 👍
🥰

Yes, I have in the past.

👍🏻😊
The fluidity of this resin looked amazing, but I have to ask (since I did not hear you mention it) how was the odor of it?
Couldn’t have been bad I didn’t notice an odor 🤷♀️
You forgot the magnet. 😅

I don’t like the magnetic effects so I left it out this time. Did you get the order yet?!
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 It's supposed to be out for delivery. Mail comes late.
The ones you said were ugly or you didn’t like we’re actually rather pretty and unique, which is what I look for and pendants.
Thanks!
They make big jump rings.
I ordered them after this video 😁
Are the pigments meant for more of galaxy type effects?
Probably, not entirely sure

Good point! You are probably right!!
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's a starry night version of the alcoholics why there's black
Hmmm you’re probably right! lol

I’ve missed alcohol ink into UV resin multiple times without a problem though 🤷♀️
I put a coffee cup/box over my UV resin that I'm not using immediately while curing something. 🫶
Great idea!!
