@@CichlidBros Np! Have you guys ever considered making merch? (unless you do already) I'd love to rep something at a Chicago expo like Aquashella or something similar.
Some pretty awesome looking fish in those tanks:) I am thrilled to say that I just got an email from Imperial Tropicals (per your suggestion) and I was able to order one Geophagus Tapajos as my centerpiece fish for my 75 gallon....I am so excited!!! I am glad it is little as my quarantine tank is only a 10 gallon:)
I've kept and loved all kind's of fish, but African cichlids are the most beautiful of freshwater fish. Lake Malawi is probably my favorite lake, unfortunately right now I'm into cold water native fish. As soon as my lottery money comes in, I'm going to build a home the size of the Georgia Aquarium. I'll just sleep in a closet. ( Lol )
Metriaclima estherae red zebra mbunas dragonblood peacocks are 2 Species that I breed. But one of my all time favorite African cichlids from lake Malawi is the auratus probly one of the most aggressive ones. But they are gorgeous. Great list guys, happy cichlid keeping🙂👍🏻
African keeper here with a healthy appreciation for SA/CA cichlids. I really love the predator haps and will one day have a tank of them, but the so-called "common" haps are where it's at! Still got a few Peas (why was the OB not on this list), but the haps became my mainstay.
I currently have a 110 liters with Rams, and I love it, in the future i definetly want to expand my tanks trying African cichlids (Malawi or Tanganyika)
I like psudotropheus crabro aka. Bumblebee mbuna, venustus and red ob zebra mbuna. American is oscar, blackbelt aka. Vieja maculicauda, sevs, green terror but can't find any nearby(des plaines), blood parrot. Pictus catfish. Have all these. But most closer to me is my red dragon male fh still a juvenile 3inch
I had a tank full of Rostratus I was catching the sand diver name says it all I had 18 in the tank caught 15 the other 3 were hiding completely under the sand could not find them
@@juliaheinritz3264 I have Had A 100 Gallon Before.. Not in A Rush.. Will Probably Get Started Next Month…Plus the Fish thats going in it is Still Babies..😄
I think you're exaggerating the compressiceps as an eye biter. People wouldn't be buying a fish that is going to blind their other fish that are worth over 1,000 dollars
love yellow labs and demasoni
Some of my favorites are the Star Saphire, Eastern Hap, Ngara Flametail , Lwanda, and Tangerine Tiger.
Cool African Chiclid 👍
Thanks!

Great video guys!! Missed opportunity leaving out the Multies. 😉😂
Ha, yep that would’ve definitely been on the list if it wasn’t only lake Malawi. Thanks for watching!

Awesome fish have some out standing colors thanks for sharing cichlids bro's joe honuy cichlid
Thanks!
Awesome fish! Looking forward the the new tank for the predators. 125 definitely is not big enough for them long term.
Love the insignis, star saffire, and modoka white lips.
Great options!
Which catfish did you have in the frame with the yellow jakes
And how big do they get
Synodontis petricola. About 4-5 inches
@@CichlidBros thanks
Lemon jake the one I want..
Hey cichlid bros how many peacock cichlids can I put in a 75
I think 13-15 is good range to aim for
You maybe do like all African cichlid list not just Malawi but it wouldn't need to be top 10 maybe top 20

No blue neon? Huuuuuge call bro😉😂
Haha, it’s hard making a top 10 when you like them all I guess 😂
Pls buy more fish for quinn's new tank
Would love to see more American cichlids swimming with the yellow jacket
Not sure if we’ll get tank mates for the yellow jacket. It may do best solo or in a pair
Oh right, forgot its a cichlid 😅😂
Nices
This is out of topic but can a 2 inch firemouth work with a 4 inch pair of pretty mild jack Dempsey in a 55
I would try.
@@STORIEDAMAAN ok thanks
it should do. the two fish have similar temperment
I had a tank full of Rostratus I was catching the sand diver name says it all I had 18 in the tank caught 15 the other 3 were hiding completely under the sand could not find them
Very interesting fish to watch for sure!
Saulosi are my favourite not that aggressive and 2 really different colours.
Really like them as well!
Do y’all sell any?
Not at the moment!
I have 4 of the top 10 fishes here 😁
But if you could include other cichlids that are not with you bros, can you come up with new list...
We might have to make another list!
Got A 75 Gallon Tank today.!! All Aquariums Are 1/2 Off in My Area until August 1st 2022…👻👀👻👀😄
Oh fun! I just set my 75 gallon up a few weeks ago (my biggest tank so far). It took forever to get the aquascape set up ha! Have fun!
