  • Tutorial - Photo sequences in Photoshop are relatively easy to put together. You need to know just a few techniques and in this video I take you through putting together an action sequence and how to edit it.
    Download free practice files to follow along here:
    we.tl/hK4J7L1T5l
    In this tutorial I show you how to use Adobe Photoshop to create action photo sequences, you can use these in anything from BMX, Skate, Parkour, Rally Racing, just about anything that comes to mind. Action sequences are some of the most impactful images.
    To create these with the techniques I use you really just need to get a grip on a couple of photoshop tools:
    1) Using the Lasso tool in photoshop to create selections
    2) Using Layer Masks in Photoshop to mask out parts of the image that are not relevant
    3) Using brushes to paint away edges from your masks, and to help blend from one image to another
    Use the practice files, follow along and tweet your finished work to me! I would love to see it!

    what lens do you think is best for something like BMX photography.

    • @BillNicholsTV
      @BillNicholsTV  7 лет назад

      Depends, if you are up close something very wide, if far away the 70-200F4L is a great lens, or if you can afford it the 70-200 F2.8

    Do you know if you can do this same thing in lightroom?

    • @BillNicholsTV
      @BillNicholsTV  7 лет назад

      +Samuel Bryan no you need to be able to do the selections, layer masks, etc. you can't do that in lightroom

    Bill, if you had your camera locked down on a solid tripod, why didn't all of the images line up so you didn't have to adjust them?

    • @BillNicholsTV
      @BillNicholsTV  7 лет назад

      +MrGrunthunter's Adventures couple reasons - it was really windy, I was quite a ways back so zoomed in quite a bit and I could bring a real beefy tripod in, I was limited in what they would allow. With that though I only had to move the images that needed it a couple pixels in whatever direction.

    • @BillNicholsTV
      @BillNicholsTV  7 лет назад

      Choose less images so there is less overlap

      Try flattening the file if you are finished, or merge visible. Or get rid of all the layers you aren't using the try saving
