You are the only person that is not annoying when making jokes during tutorials. Honestly every time someone does this I cringe and click away, but yours are honest and not forced so they go well with the flow of the video. Great job dude.
Dude I cant thank you enough!!! For the last 4 years ive been learning from you, and i am very thankfull for your videos! I started photoshop in highschool and i aced that class thanks to you!!!
me too, i've been watching his tutorial since im in college, very useful for my entire life ., now im teaching other ppl to cz his tutorial, thank you so much Phlearn
I’ve started doing mock-ups for my poster sales and this learning how to use the vanishing point perspective tool will help make my wall art look fabulous!! Thank for this clear, concise explanation of how to edit shadows, etc to make it more realistic. I will look through your other videos to see what other nuggets of “nowledge” I can uncover. Thank you!!
3 shadows, layer clipped to group, marque tool + lasso tool equal 3D frame, these are awesome tip for compositing, Aaron, I bet you are angel of the world in phototoshop. thank you, my tutor
Here's another useful tip if you are using the Vanishing Point Feature "The bounding box and grid of a perspective plane is normally blue. If there’s a problem with the placement of the corner nodes, the plane is invalid, and the bounding box and grid turn either red or yellow. When your plane is invalid, move the corner nodes until the bounding box and grid are blue." You can ensure a better perspective with an understanding of the above aspect of VP.
Aaron is there twin versions of you that teach every subject in LIFE!?!? Like Nurse Jennys from Pokemon... Seriously I learned more from your videos in one hour than all my 4 years combined of art school.... which I'm going to be paying the rest of my eternity for....
No matter what I do I cant get this to work. When I am in vanishing point and I click command V it simply turns my vanishing point into a square with blue corners. My image is in my clipboard so I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Brilliant! This is the 5th video off yours that I've watched while trying to figure out which version of PS is right for my creatives and after binging on your tuts, I'm going for the whole megillah. Your personality is as perfect as it gets for a teacher. Thank you, Aaron.
Awesome as usual. Some people can teach good but don't have the best knowledge and some people have great knowledge but can't teach. You are one of the rare ones that have both. Plus you have a nice sense of humor and a great personality which makes the tutorials fun to watch while learning great stuff!!
I literally never knew you could click that plus symbol and get extra shadows or layer adjustments.... that was the gold in this whole tutorial...well aside from your personality. Subscribing now!
Thank you Aaron!! I love how before you start teaching I think through how "I" would do it (I'm at that knows-enough-to-be-dangerous stage), and yet always wind up learning so many tips and tricks and advantages from your methods. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge!
Man, this is exactly how I feel about his videos (and I have used Photoshop daly since version 2.5.1). I guess there is always a little something we can add to improve our method.
My 5 yr old son caught me watching around 19:50 when you were moving the frame around and it looked so real that he thought you could control physical things remotely
I thought the Vanishing point was most useless tool, it turned out to be really useful. Thank you Aaron for making it so simple. I use set this manually which was pain.
With this video I learned one of the most important things I've learned from Photoshop in a while: Pressing the Space Bar while using the Marquee Tool, you can move that selection around before finishing it. NICE!!!
this was so easy explained and I learned a lot:) loved the "boom" :P Im learning more with ps cause i wanna make my art digital, and its so fun to tweak with Midjourney and then finish up in photoshop:) Thanks a lot :) Love from Norway=)
I love you! I've been struggling with adding a two dimension rectangle to real estate photos, with the correct perspective. I've never even looked at that ''perspective'' filter until this video came along! Thank you!
Hi! Thank you for your video. If you're ever able to answer, can I know why my image doesn't show up but the bounding box of the image shows up instead?
Oh my God!!!! The BEST video about PH ever!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 thank you so mich!!! You have a new subsciber. Amazing! You should be a teacher, natural teaching talent 🥰
This was great and don't forget now that you've cut the center picture out if you group it together as a smart object you can put any picture you want in the middlel without having to touch the frame again.
thank you very much! i appreciate all of the help and guidance. my professor wouldn't teach us this and said that we would have to learn it on our own time when it comes to producing the final project look.
the grid is blue, i verified that i did have the image copied, but after clicking ctrl V on the vanishing filter layer, the image was not able to be pasted. Not sure why. Do you have any ideas?
You are such a good and thorough teacher. You take the fear out of trying some of the editing tools and I am learning new techniques from you, thank you! I enjoy all of your self-corrections of your made-up words, they're lots of fun! I find myself making new words, too. Great minds... :)
Fab. Very useful indeed. I was doing this manually, overlaying an image on a bag, changing perspective and then using 'Multiply' to blend the white background image with a jute bag. On pasting I lose the blend. Just wondering how, without cutouts, I could get the same effect?
I'm loving this. I've been working with Photoshop since it came out (yes I'm that old) and there are just some things I've never been able to do well. Perspectives. Realistic Shadows. This was a great teaching video. Also love the mispronounced words. I do that all the time. lol Actually mine is more I combine two words that usually are similar into one word. Thanks for the joyful laugh.
such a great tutorial! I really want to learn how to do this with a more 3d object like that potted plant or the lamp... can you make a tutorial on how to do that??
You are legit just so awesome. I love how you really explain simply and specifically which helps because there are sooo many tools to learn! thank youuu

That's exactly what I did, I ended up finding an image that worked better so I didn't need to do this xD
boop

I don't even have photoshop, but I laughed and smiled for this whole tutorial. You are such a fun teacher. lol
Thanks!
Amazing tutorial!! Thanks for the wisdom 🙏🙏

What is the best practice to do the opposite? Bringing something from perspective into front orthographic view?
Vanishing point was the one thing I never used. And like anything from photoshop. I only learned it from Phlearn. Thanks Aaron. You are awesome.

Why i can't paste the layer ? i did everything step by step but my PS won't paste the layer
Better than my art school teacher... amazing!

Quick question: with the marquee tool, how did you drawn it and then resize it without using the transforming tool? 5:38
Holding down the spacebar allows you to move your selection around without needing to transform the selection itself
