    I have a set, picked them up for less than the price of the tires mounted to them. Couldn't be happier.

      Awesome! That sounds like an excellent deal!

      Me too. What did you do for the lugs? Did you stay with stock or get some to go with the steelies?

      @@thisisjess_ I used the ones that came with the Defender wheels.

    I was thinking of doing the same thing and was wondering what it would look like...looks good!

    I'm 99.99% certain this is my old LR3! Let me know if you have any questions about it.

      You can be 100% certain! I still have a stack 3" thick pile of records. The truck is doing great and it's my daily. Just passed VA state inspection and got some new sway bar bushings and end links. Hauls kids, goes to Rover events, just an all around workhorse. My buddy Allen may have run into you at Uwharrie a few weeks ago, one day I'll make it down there! Thanks for checking in, would love to hear about your adventures sometimes. You can email me rvarover.us@gmail.com if you like!

    Looks great! I've been looking to do the same with my Discovery 4. I'm guessing the stock 2020 Defender tyre size is too big though for a straight swap (if I buy used wheels and tyres)

      Actually the stock tires would fit well! The stock size for the 18 inch wheels I believe is 255/70/18, and I have put on 275/65/18 - they are the same height and sidewall, mine are just about an inch wider. I don't have any issues with rubbing during normal driving so I'm certain the 255/70 wouldn't. If you find a set, throw it on and let me know how they work out!

      @@rvarover oh that's interesting! I have a friend with a new Defender so I might ask to swap wheels for a test fit. Here in the UK, new Defender steels wheels have gotten very cheap lately as the market becomes saturated, with owners opting for larger wheels (19/20/21")

    Brilliant idea! Any concern on these wheels getting rust easily? Thanks!

    What type of lift did you have to do?

    • @rvarover
      @rvarover  10 месяцев назад

      It came with the Atlantic British HD +2" lift and no further modifications were required to fit the wheel/tire setup
