Trek /Eddy Merckx / Marin /look/time/ Colnago/Tarmac/Giant /Avanti / Pinarello I actually have 2 models Prince and Paris / Focus Izalco /Stork Scenero / Teschner Virgin Atlantic limited edition. I have also a Scott. These are only a few I have ridden over the years and still have. Most of these I have more than one model of. But not focus I don't find them that special sorry.
I don't buy performance marketing anymore. They are all the same. However this bike ticks 2 very important boxes. Serviceability (Integrated look but actually external cables) and visual appeal. Good work.
I have the current Izalco Max and think it’s exceptional, if this one is better Colin has definitely been busy😅. It is a miss in my opinion not have FOCUS on the downtube. Look forward to see what’s been done with the Paralane.

As with most bikes, it comes with way too wide handlebars. I find this quite strange for a bike focusing on aerodynamics, as narrower bars are really low-hanging fruit. A 54cm M size frame should have 40cm bars, not 42cm. Small women riding an XXS frame need something narrower than 40cm. Replacing the handlebars would probably require you to redo the wiring, which would be a significant investment in time and money with hydraulic disk brakes and internal cabling everywhere. This is definitely something which would deter me from getting this bike.

Warum gibt es keinen Focus Schriftzug mehr am Unterrohr? Das sieht von der Lackierung leider etwas unfertig und billig aus. Schade, da gefällt mir mein izalco max 9.7 in Silber schwarz aus 2019 wesentlich besser.

New version looks as any other bike, older version is more characteristic in apperance and geometry - it is relative it is better or not of course.
