Conceptually HR is a good thing. In practice it is garbage. HR NEVER acts in the interests of the business, they act in the interests of management. Management DO NOT act in the interest of the business, they act in their own interests. And that is proven time and time again in studies. (Theory of the firm: Managerial behavior, agency costs and ownership structure)
i love china but he has failed to post or discuss failures that i have had with road wheels from a company that he advertises for .. How does that help the common guy like us ?
Thanks for the interview Joe and Luke! I appreciate Luke's efforts with the Ali Express/Chinese bike components. I have experimented a little and have had mixed results. I believe that the work that Luke does is perfectly complemented by the work/company that Joe has put together. Luke is exploring and experimenting the Chinese markets (and brining us those results), Joe is taking the best and most reputable from the Far East markets and giving us a trustworthy source to obtain the equipment....a perfect match!
My current bike is based on the same frame that Luke used in his first build. I built it soon after he posted his build. I am still happy with the frame but i have upgraded a few thing like mechanical shifting to Di2. Thanks Luke! Joe, thanks for the interview.
Great interview! Just loved it! Great to know the persons behind scene and to know there is a collaboration between Joe and Luke and the rest of the online cycling community. With enough voices the cycling industry might take notice.
Excellent! Been following the two of you for a long time and seen the evolution. Great to see that your orbits finally collide! Looking forward to 2025!
Is that Luke's fancy summer house? A lock keeper seems like that cushy job when you're officially retired but still want to do something. Thankfully Luke's chucked that in for our benefit.
There's an easy piece of advice for Chinese manufacturers - create a unified front company to operate in the UK / EU as a centralised distribution and warranty operation. Take away the unknowns.
I am waiting for the day when his name isn't Luke anymore. Even then he will still be a legend among those of us who ride Chinese bikes (even those of us not brave enough to buy from Aliexpress).
It IS his full time job, with a family to support... and yet, if you've watched his videos you'll see that he often highlights problems and even serious failures on stuff he's bought. And he's really entertaining too!!!😃
Lukes bike is a bit like triggers broom 😂
Funniest thing I've read all week. Hahhaa.
A masters in HR. That has to be the quote of the year.

Hambini with your brutal honesty you must be very familiar with your HR manager 😂😂😂
@@davidtydeman1434 That's quite true!
Trace velo is the reason why every part I have is from aliexpress. I’ve been told I’m a very good cyclist.
i love china but he has failed to post or discuss failures that i have had with road wheels from a company that he advertises for .. How does that help the common guy like us ?
Love Luke. One of my favorite YT people. Allways a baguette for that guy.
He’s got my favourite RUclips channel. Seems like a nice dude.

Both of them help to highlight how many more options that are compared to the local bike shop
Thanks for the last two interviews, Joe, really enjoyed watching them. Jon 👍

Thanks Luke!
Joe, thanks for the interview.
The two best cycling guys from RUclips at one place, nice

Hey Luke, which bike shoes are you wearing?
I had my suspicions that Luke used to 'work the canals'. I bet he made a fortune with that cheeky smile...
Cool!
Happy New Year!

Next year shaw we get the panda podium second place store lol, for all the Lukes AliExpress recomended itens and much more 🎉

Nice weather in the UK.
This was filmed in August, haha.

The man who has repeatedly demonstrated that you don’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy road cycling with good equipment and accessories and clothing
I dont think Joe and Luke are compatible. Joe is business, Luke is a reporter.
If Joe from China Cycling has to laugh about how cheap a carbon frame was, then you know it was definitely really cheap 😂.
I cant understand why the answer to the "last ride ever" question isnt "around the world riding every road in every country" 😂
Don't by cheap carbon handlebars but a cheap carbon frame or wheelset is fine.... 😂
I am waiting for the day when his name isn't Luke anymore. Even then he will still be a legend among those of us who ride Chinese bikes (even those of us not brave enough to buy from Aliexpress).
Ali Express Underpants
Are they carbon? I need some new ones
I've seen charcoal filtering under pants on.aliexpress
Trace velo is only interested in making money here not the truth on bike parts simple facts ..
well ,the man is being interviewed by his friend who has a channel called china cycling also his bike is made from ali express parts
Reporting this comment to HR 😉
You're completely trippin balls mate.

I smell a Brit's sarcasm 😂
