A GDQ Twilight Princess Low % would be so funny. I’m imagining they setup a real small secondary window that’s always active with a small timer in that window. The runner does their route as normal and when they hit the rupee slide the window shrinks and the next game starts as the TP runner leaves till the rupee slide’s done. Or they just make saves to skip the long wait time.
I actually really like Spike learning tricks during the run, it's a good example of how you learn this stuff organically doing randos. 90% of the difficulty is knowing that the trick exists in the first place, then you can look it up on RUclips and learn how to do it during a playthrough.
Having spent the last few weeks watching Spike do practice runs with and without Gym, i knew this would be a great run/showcase Gym's casual style plus Spike's volcano of Rizz makes for an amazing combo imho HUge S/O to the host for being awesome too, she slayed

I've noticed the audio and video are slightly out of sync in the SGDQ videos this year. Watch spike and Gym's mouths as they talk in the beginning. The audio is a little bit ahead. I've tested other youtube videos and they've been fine, just the SGDQ uploads.
I love Spike. It’s always strange seeing him when miked up for commentary because he has this cool and in control voice but then when he’s off mike (the DK Tropical Freeze race springs to mind) he’s a bouncing ball of energy and volume.
why didnt they do map glitch for snowpeak? there is the howling stone that is used in any% to deactivate it still after all. that would have saved them on 2 checks

Seeing Spike hand the controller off to Phantom at 2:23:00 was easily the funniest part of the whole run!
