I would like to see them as a faction with playable heroes. Since talon has sniper units but widowmaer is THE sniper, or it has heavy units and Mauga is (ostensibly) slated as a playable character, I think it would be possible to see a variation of one of the new null sector units as a playable hero; they only showed us a hand full of the null sector units in action (the overview of null sector you use at 12:09 shows a litany of other number sector omnics). If they do do this, which unit would you like to see as a playable hero?

Null Sector's my favorite OverWatch faction and I'm super happy that it has gotten the attention in needs for the story's future! (It really needed more Concepts from fans to make it relevant for even comics)

I want Maximilian to be a support hero.. More about buffing team and taxing the enemy. An ability like, when he targets an opponent, the cooldowns of that opponent are extended. Not like Sombra where the ability it gone, but more about changing the timing of the enemy heroes. If you Main soldier76 and you expect to be able to use your helix rockets, you peak, fire... Nothing.. Still on CD.. Thus taking unnecessary damage or stay in cover, not participating as much waiting for your cool downs.

I image overwatch 2 story is gonna barrow doom eternal story where doom slayer fights the forces of hell to stop the demon invasion on earth but dealing with other things along the way.
The South Korean Omnium is underwater and every few months sends a fresh batch of drone omnics to attack the humans. As far as we know, this is independent and unaffiliated with Null Sector, which is led and controlled by sentient omnics as opposed to an Omnium hive mind.

What I don't like is the whole concept of Null Sector. The Omnics in this world look different. They wear clothes, each one looks mostly like a human, they feel unique. But with NS that whole uniqueness has been thrown into trash. Their soldiers don't look like beeings but more like some drones that are only designed to do one thing. To kill. Those two ideas don't really fit together if u ask me.
I think thats the point. The robots in null sector where made to fight, which is mostly why they seem to have no personality and are instead mindless drones for war.
Null sector is not suppose to look like omnics. They are simply killing machines that want to protect the omnics from humans who don’t treat them the same way. Think of them as body guards for omnics just without personality
Because Null Sector are made for War? Omnics like Zen is more likely servants for humans that's why they have humans features such as the human shape heads and wearing clothes? Their purpose is even different, it's not even hard to understand
Y'all ever realize that overwatch's story is a oppression story like Sexism vs women Racism vs the colored Homophobia vs lgbtqia+ Religion vs atheism or other religion But humans and omnics are the good guys and the bad guys like Overwatch vs talon, overwatch vs null sector but the oppressor is the former oppressed and we are fighting the former oppressed as humans vs omnics.
