I saw Bill a few weeks ago live at a festival and he played a couple of songs that he and Sean had wrote together. It was amazing!

When he pulled out that book at 7:13 I was really hoping it would be the Little Book of Calm
He truly is a gifted entertainer. Naturally funny, musically talented and super likeable.

National treasure? Yes. Bill Bailey is the only person that would render me starstruck and speechless if I saw him across a room.

I saw Bill Bailey at latitude festival and I wanted desperately to go over to him and tell I him how much I loved his comedy and his music but then I saw how many people were harassing him, phone in hand and I thought better of it poor dude was just trying to enjoy the craft cider, but he constantly smiled and posed for photos even though it was clear he wanted to be left alone. He's a top bloke deserves a medal.
Seeing his mind working in real time on the two twats bit, and then the look he gives Jimmy at the end that just says "What the hell was that?" is brilliant.
Love Bill Bailey... and I miss Sean, a lot.
That whole bit with the emails from the AA seems to be a parody of guests like Joe lycett who bring in correspondence on their dictionary corner bits…

First Saw Bill about 20 years ago at the Imagination xmas party (Store Street).. I loved it but no one apart from me was listening...Times have changed!

It was this skit that got me to cancel my AA Ireland membership. In Ireland there is no way to cancel membership online, instead you have to "contact" them and go through the rigmarole of some scripted attempt to make you change your mind. Fuck them all.

He appeared on Conan O’Brian’s chat show.
The first time I flew into Malaysia I was filling out my landing card (on the plane) and it had the usual immigration questions, but on the reverse side in bold red lettering (one word per line) - “THE PENALTY FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING IS DEATH”. A few months later an English chap was killed by firing squad for drug trafficking and people were up in arms. There was no chance of misinterpretation on that form!
