I wish it was explained on what Zahkan tier is, and why hes in his own tier of play. Is that good? Is that bad?? I played Zahkan twice and went even, 1-1. He seems pretty good and fun, with enough negates and a super powerful card that can reset your alcohol or fortitude if you time it well enough and are willing to ride that edge. His drunken firebreath card is pretty powerful too, if, again, you’re willing to ride that dangerous edge. Plenty of ways to reduce alcohol gains, fortitude loss, ect ect.
How do I find how to play 2v2 format? Like rules for team turn order? Or is it more like free-for-all but just with a treaty to not attack your team mate? Is the turn order AABB or ABAB?
abab. you can find specific rules for a 2v2 format in the instructions for set 6 onwards. Although the version of 2v2 I talked about has been edited with a draft system.
@@MonkeyFightTCG I'll look into those then, thanks! I've considered wrench because I love kobolds and artificers in D&D, but heard he was oppressively OP.
While I do love RDI and it is a lot of fun, it is not really suited for competitive play. The various characters are far too imbalanced for it to be a fair competition. There are several characters that are just simply better than others and in the hands of a moderate to good player, they will almost always win. In a casual setting, you give those characters to newer players to balance things out a bit vs experienced players who use the more complicated and difficult to win with characters. That just really doesn't work in a competitive environment though.
@@MonkeyFightTCG found another game i like its called here to slay super fun and simple not very competitive but i reccomend it as a fun a pass time while waiting for your opponent too finish there turn in master duel

What are your thoughts on RDI 9 if you've gotten it?
It's really good
@@MonkeyFightTCG Nice, deciding what to get next, currently have RDI 1, 6, Pooky and Zariah. Leaning towards 8 but 7 and 9 are also in consideration.
7 is still my favorite to recommend. I'd also recommend looking into murgath vs ohava and wrench. Just some super fun options

He is, but he's also really fun. Just ask the table if they also want to play op characters as well and it usually works out

Oh boy I have news for you about the nature of competitive games
No mention of the game's potential as a drinking game.
Well I did make this video as a competitive analysis. But yes it does work for that
if only it had a really live community or maybe it does idk but besides that it looks pretty fun
It had an actual community pre covid. But it is what it is.
