One thing that would’ve been good to add. It’s the dexterity, strength and intelligence requirements that determine the weighting towards a green/red/blue socket. A 10 dex required item isn’t the same as a 100 dex item.

Seven-League Steps have no stat requirements so all colors are equally likely. That is to say, there are no off colors.
The instructions are correct, but the item used for the demonstration is bad.
Just like the pinned comment mentioned, I honestly thought it was the base itself not the requirement that decided the socket colors on the item. Either way most of them corollate and the point is still valid.

Some good tips for newer players, but disliked for the clickbait thumbnail. You did not show an effective way to translate a 6linked item to 6 off colours like the thumbnail suggests
Guys, I explained that. For 6 link and ALL 6 off colors on unique items your only option will be chrome spamming or tainted chrome spamming. But Idk what build you're doing if you require ALL 6 sockets to be off colors. Base items used in builds are usually defined by character and main skill. I'm playing LA now and I have 3G2R1B for example. For Detonate dead you also should focus on a dex base too since it commonly uses 4G2B as a 6 link. You can easily just craft 3/4 of the off colors if needed, but if you need to craft more than 4 on an item, you're better off getting a better/different base.

Good tip. Getting 3 off-color on 6-socket made easier; I usually have more jeweller orb
Appreciate the video, but if you gonna post a video guide, then just look up the info about tainted chromatic orbs beforehand, it's on poe wiki. Otherwise every viewer will just have to fact check that.

So like I mentioned. It’s just RNG randomly giving sockets colors.
People dont even know they need this video. All the old players quit. Now theres just new players brought in by new streamers that dont even know this is a problem.
Some veterans are a bit tired but I wouldn’t say quit. In the recent leagues we’ve had the most players ever. But I hope I can help the new players!
