Can't believe I've slept on Kikazaru for RF, what a good suggestion! I usually end up hoarding Kikazarus anyway for a Soul Mantle character, but now i could League start RF, and then steal the rings for that future character if needed. Also, great video as always :)
Can someone explain what he is trying to say at 14:18 to 14:40 How is adding Skitterbot make you vulnerable to freezes ? What does he mean use a divine vessel on the pantheon ?
Trusting 5% max res to a conditional effect (even if it has a very good uptime) is just not a good idea. Going from 90% -> 85% res is a x1.5 damage taken multiplier. Using the Traitor keystone to do this will almost certainly be worth it at least until the Adorned, and getting 9!!! max res with MB will be amazing. Without one of these setups I wouldn't suggest relying on Ruby Flask to cap max res unless you *have* to.
i think ill take it easy this league but still day one will be interesting as alway. i try starter bow last league and i find it get boring even faster than RF i don't know why? maybe because RF is more chill play style and you can actually relax while mapping and do league content while bow build have to be active all the time or you just die from some random damage.

I've been spamming hundreds of alteration orbs trying to get the correct mix of 2-3 charges on hit and the flask duration benefits - reduced effect shock, curses, movement. So far I've got two flasks that are okay. When i search for flasks matching my requirements they're charging 1-3 divine orbs. Is this reasonable to pay for flasks to save time? I still also need taste of hate to hit my 60+% phys damage taken as elemental.
I usuaully buy them in trade and when I roll flasks I sell off the decent rolled ones to other players, if buying look for gain 2 charge to save some currency
Can you explain why ignite prolif provides clear? Doesn't ignite scale off base fire damage? Frostblink/shield charge/RF are not really able to apply any decent ignite here. Frostblink can obviously be set up for ignite, but that is it's own build.
Does anyone have trade site links for each slot/jewel? Or does pohx have them on his site? Just curious before league start. I suck at understanding the trade site since I normally ssf

So, your helmet is the piece of gear with a lot of green sockets then? I started a small practice run today to get a little bit of insight and at the moment, it is my gloves that hold the fire trap so it could be a problem. At the same time, it was a test. One thing though: are there alternatives to Shield Charge? I tried it and I just do not like it, especially as half the time, my character just 'shout' without moving, even when my mouse is away. I used the Hole Flame Totem over the Flame Wall, which felt much better to me but since I just got the trap, it is a matter of time before I drop it for something else.

Assuming that you're talking about Aspect of Carnage jewels, it's up to you. Those forbidden jewels will give you a pretty sizable (~30%) full dps increase over 2x adorned jewels but you'll be ~13% squishier.
Forgive me if I missed something...I looked at the FAQ and didn't see anything for SSF, but what I was wondering is if you'd consider doing a video for how to adapt these to SSF.
At lvl 28 when you unlock purity of elements and determination I just throw them both on and bloodmagic my casting and shield charge. Do you do something else ?

I would consider RF for the first time tomorrow but I cant find any build that shows what is possible in 1k divs budget/ high end, i just want to see what is possible, would love if some1 can help me out.
Giga budget RF isn't Chieftain, it's mana RF (check out connerconverse) or life stacking Ivory Tower Ascendant RF (check out captainlance). Pohx played a pretty impressive Chief RF last league with MB+Adorned+DoD and such, you can check out the vods to see how buttery smooth it is.

Uh, what? There is no better RF leaguestarter. Period. You're deadass wrong if you think otherwise. If you're looking for optimized SCT giga RF builds he's not the guy to watch, and he'll tell you that himself.
Do you realize that this video is mostly about early midgame gearing, which most of blasters will reach in a day or two. Its just a guideline for great leaguestarter for new rf players which is capable of destroying t16s in a fun explody/tanky/chill way. You can build 10 mirror rfs after that, but who cares.
Ah yes my favorite type of POE players. The ones that claim they have all the knowledge and totally 100% full of shit. A quick look at POE Ninja reinforces this. Dude legit thinks he sitting on some secret tech when in reality he is probably saccing resistances or life for 3% dmg lmfao.

Hinekora, Death's fury from chieftain. the explosions can ignite. then when they prolif you get more explosions.

Is it normal that sceptre I find in act 3 still the best I have even i'm running white maps already? literally nothing better dropped since then
+22% elem damage, 19% spell dmg, 24% fire dot, 17% cold, 30% burning damage and 3 shitty(1-4 lightning, 27 mana and 261 accuracy there)

He normally grabs the top right reservation node. I opt to life tap at that point if I have links
use first purity - drop herald, Complete first lab. After pick ponts to mana reserv/aura effect (on top) - use determ
With chief you don't have good support gems for RF till Library act 3. So at lvl 16 you want a 3 link 2red 1blue for RF/shieldslam/lifetap
