Vampire Coast artillery is actually generally slightly weaker than their Imperial and Dwarven equivalents. Only Queen Bess is an exception, and even she was originally an Imperial cannon that Harkon looted. Necrofex isn't all that exceptional in terms of firepower, it's main advantage is its high mobility, durability and the ability to not completely suck in melee. It dies in duels to similar units, like a Bone Giant. Where the Coast truly shines is with its handgunner and deck gunner units, which are the best in their class out of all the races. Its monsters are pretty strong too, but not necessarily the best.
