Absolutely agree! And for some reason, CDs seem to be made cheaply, these OG CDs seem to have more weight to them. The jewel case in particular seems to be made with thicker plastic. Anyways, thank you so much for watching!
I love to find out when someone drops his CD collection at my local shop. I hated "Diatribes" when it came out, I bought the OG double 10" though. Now I´m glad I still have it! I listened to a lot of Pissing Razors over 20 years ago, then I totally "forgot" about them. Thank you for reminding me of the band! I saw Fudge Tunnel a lot in the mid 90s and I saw the one and only show Nailbomb ever played at the Dynamo Open Air in 1995...
Hell yea, I need to get another copy of that Nailbomb, it was one of my favorites when it was released. That Napalm Death was not a favorite of mine when it was released back then but finding this copy and listening to it after all these year I like it a lot. You went to some awesome shows back then!
Great haul! DMDS is a great album. It’s my second favourite Mayhem release after Deathcrush.
Relentless is my favourite Pentagram album, Victor Griffin is one of my favourite guitarists, absolute riff machine. The Ghoul is probably my favourite Pentagram song.

Wow I have that Destruction compilation too it's the first thing I got by them back in the mid 90"s! Love the Drift album and that Probot album! Been listening to alot of Black Label Society lately albums are pretty solid throughout! Great video Steve!

Good Napalm Death one, have it on tape, the groove days for the band i think they call that era of the band that way. I remember Pissing razors from magazines but never listen to them. They sound better than i thought they were going to sound lol.
Oh yea, that Pissing Razors is a hidden gem, I have always thought they started to late and didn't really have an original sound and they may have hurt them, great album though. Napalm Death era groove is fun, this album in particular is my favorite from that era. You have a great summer! I just read your reply to my comment on your video.
I've heard of the band Pissing Razors over and over again back in the day, but I never knew what they sounded like. I like it!!
I had a solid collection, but I sold it on Ebay in 2022, over the course of 3 months. I made over 3K and was able to buy new cymbals, drumheads, and all the parts I needed to build my own, one of a kind kick drum pedals. I even made my own bassdrum triggers, too. So, it was worth it....
As far as the Napalm Death album, the record label is Earache. The album before Diatribes, Fear Emptiness Despair, was a similar, but the album afterward, Inside The Torn Apart, is an exact carryover from Diatribes. It sounds like it could be a double album.
Hell yea, that Pissing Razors is killers and sound even better live. I would have done the same thing as a musician I totally understand selling to get would you need for the instrument you play. As far as the Napalm Death, I will need to check out the album after this one, sounds fantastic in this vein.

Diatribes was my introduction to Napalm Death and I got it when it first was released on cassette. Not only is it my favorite release of theirs but I think it would be cool if there was an entire genre of metal that sounded like it.
I absolutely agree, that Napalm Death is so damn good, I wish there was more that sound like this thing.

Never given any time to Napalm Death, been wanting to give them a go though for a while. I know S.O.D. but I've not listened to M.O.D., I think it's like a spin off right? Never listened to Black Label Society, I like Zakk Wylde but just never given them a try. That's a cool Destruction pickup, need to give them more listens. Cool update man 😊🤘🏻
Thanks Josh!! Somebody mentioned in the comments that MOD and SOD is the same band but SOD has Scott Ian on guitars. I will need to look it up. That Pissing Razors is pretty good, I've honestly not seen anyone talk about them so I pulled them out. I think they got buried during the NUMETAL scene honestly. I was so happy to find that Mayhem. I don't know if anybody has noticed that I have went to CD more and less vinyl. The reason is price and sound quality. So finding the CD versions of what I have on vinyl already has been my goal. @@JoshKeech Vinyl is pretty cumbersome. I've been thinking about replacing it with cd versions and selling it eventually. CDs are just easier to store and defects are normally very low as compared to Vinyl and Cassette. I believe that modern Cassettes are a waste of money, the record companies are doing a shit job on sound quality so I've stopped buying them. Only the old cassettes are what I'm interested in.
@@stevesekora Yeah man, I totally get it. Vinyl is so expensive and takes up so much space, it's just not great if you have a small space like I do. I have the first 5 Black Label Society albums. My favorite ones are 1919 Eternal. To me, That's the heaviest one of the 5 i have. My other favorite is the album The Blessed Hellride. I also have Zakk Wylde's 1994 side project band, Pride and Glory.
