I am sorry that I am way late to the party but, I do have a couple of questions. The first one especially, is, how is this machine holding up? The second one is that I noticed that some of the cuts have red numbers. Is there some significance to the red numbers?
Just wondering what the Latest is on the SEC-E9 ?......After 1.5 yrs, are U still happy w it?.....any problems U care to post about? I understand they now offer an Android based system....wondering if the Newest Tablet is useable with the older system as U have...? FYI, i have Older MINI Xhorse and happy with it (other than poor design of chips/debris getting inside machine; but mostly solved with duct tape/deflector placed above opening).
Hi, and thanks for the video. Does cover all Vehicles makes and models up to date 2019, Are you able to retrieve Key codes for Recent Vehicles such 2015+
its been a year, can i ask how is the machine now? does it last? im in the same dilemma xhorse is 12k in my country currency while is is half of that, wanted to know can this atleast last 1-2 years of use before invest in it.
It will code cut but not by vin. I don't think any machine will do that. You need a subscription to something like autocode where you can obtain the cut code from the vin. If you have the cut code yes it will cut the key without an original key.
Im a mechanic in Africa, Uganda. I would like to buy a key duplicator and start making keys for mostly cars of Asian origin( Toyota's, Subaru's, mitsubishi etc). What entry level key machine would you recommend for me and any other tools that I need to start with. And also what type of key blanks I need to have in stock.
Hi Matthew, if you have interest, I can send you more details about sec-e9, you can look at it and then make decision. my email is cherry@kkkcut.com, whatsapp is +8615914033465
Man I keep hearing bad problems with the machine , the word out there is a piece of junk ??? Let's see what the future holds for the unit, please let us know when it crashes..
Plenty of these have arrived DOA due to them being run from a generic embedded tablet. A lot of the specialist key cutting forums here in the UK have banned any chat from their sites as they are viewed as a cheap copy of a much better one (apparently).
sarcastixx74 I completely agree. The tablet is horrible quality. It such JKJK because the machine cuts keys incredibly nice. I've done about 160 keys since I bought it with no problems. It's paid for itself but I am not too sure how long it's going to last. I just hate that there is such a huge difference in price between the name brand cutters and the Chinese versions. $2200 for this one or $9800 for a silica. I didn't really want to invest in a machine that will take 4 years to pay off in profits. I'm considering buying the xhorse but I'm unsure if it's much better.
The XHORSE is a good machine also. I bought a MIRACLE A9 who is the original. It is cheaper than the other electronics machines like SILCA, JMA and so on. The price is well placed and the machine very efficient. You can pilot it directly with the instacode. This is not the case of SEC9. you can make the machine profitable in just one year.
if you have any doubts, please be free to contact us. It may have something wrong with sense location when cut thek eys. My phone&whatsapp:+86 181 5379 3216, thanks

Hi , where did you get the 67209? I lost my key and I have tried the the codes provided by InstaCode, however it didn’t work because I was only able to provide Vehicle made, model and year. Where can I get the 5 digit code for my Ford Fusion 2007?

I think i've been pretty lucky. About 600 cuts in and no major problems what so ever. I don't think it's the actual mechanical portion of the machine that has problems. Its honestly well built but the tablet is garbage. It now takes 4 or 5 tries to get it to turn on every time. Its not going to last. I know that. Honestly i bought a keyline 994 . Its a $7500 cutter and im just as disappointed. It uses an electrically charged decoder to detect the key position and the slightest bit of dirt or even cheap chrome plated keys and it snaps the decoder (if your lucky) or the bit. .i've bought 3 replacement decoders and 2 bits at $170 each. I wish someone would just make a solid reasonably priced key cutter. I have a friend that has the xhorse. He said its full of problems as well. Ive been very lucky with this machine. Its working better then the 994 and obviously cuts better then my $300 cheapo but i know its only a matter of time before the tablet dies.
@@jackmeyers2911 If the tablet on the sec e9 dies, maybe you can fix it with your mad electronics skills - if something like that happens you should definitely make a video of it!
@@sailorbob74133 i'm actually trying to find out if I can get the application and install it on a 10 inch windows tablet. It just runs on windows 7 and connects to the cnc through bluetooth. Should be doable and would make the machine awesome. The only weak part to the sec is the cheap tablet they use.
In my experience thats a lie. If I got 2 call back from UHS Hardware then I'm lying and that was only after i had called them several times. UHS hardware sucks I regret have given them 4k+ for 2 pieces of equipment. I'm going with their competitors next time just like a let Matt and Joel know. The product is great their customer service SUCKS!
non ya that's crazy. I have switched to a different supplier myself also just because I called to get a part from a different company and they went above to help me out. Never had problems myself with uhs except a few backordered keys that I ended up canceling because they never came. Its been 8 months since I called them though and I know things change.
Jack Meyers well I was a little upset because I asked for a suggestion on a cutting machine and he sold it to me like literally the whole sales pitch but after payment was sent I had a hard time getting ahold of Joel or the manager I believe his name was either Mike or Matt. Anyways I wasn't happy with their customer service. The only advantage is that they're in the same state I am, other than that nothing different than their competitors. I've had a bad experience with them.
non ya that sucks. When I bought my first machine from them they were pretty good. The decoder snapped a week later and they called me back and got it taken care of right away but on the other side I did place 2 huge key orders and both times they had backordered keys and when I called they said the website should not have let me order them but they would send them with free shipping when they were in stock. I got a voicemail a few weeks later letting me know they were in stock and that they were going to just charge the shipping. I called quick and told them I wasn't paying shipping because the original order was over $800 in keys . They responded with oh well they aren't in stock anyways and they tried to get me to place a $99 order. I got the manager on the phone pretty quick and told him to refund me for the $88 in keys I never got. He said he would call me back and an hour later I got a tracking number in my email and no shipping charge. It did seem strange and that was my last order from them. I totally understand where your coming from. I recently bought a keyline 994 cutter as an upgrade to this sec-e9 and stumbled onto a great supplier with awesome customer service.
Jack Meyers and that's how it should be you can't lose a customer over $12 I'm sure that's not always the case I just got a bad sales rep most likely. I called American key supply and they called me back 3x before even placing an order. I'm in sales and when someone is spending money with me you best believe I'd be calling them make sure they're happy. I hate to beg someone to take my money lol as a matter of fact let me say this they did promise me $100 worth of keys and I'm still waiting on them that was 3 weeks ago. Anyways who else do you usually deal with if you don't mind sharing that
non ya international key supply and key net. Both have been amazing. The salesman from keynet gave me his personal cell number and said I can call him anytime if I need an order or tech support. Both companies have been outstanding.
Dam great review looking something like this on RUclips and I just a made up my Mind. thank you.

What are the cuts for a 2000 Honda Accord with a key code of "8406"?
with the Miracle A5 it's best to cut that funny 1 sided toy/lexus 8k series on the top clamp. Clamp it tight and it cuts it perfectly.
Hi, I have calibrated using the decoder into the cutter. Spacing seems right but not cutting deep enough for toy43. Any suggestions
Did you ever fix the issue? I have the same problem on kw1 keys.
Thanks Great Video
