You have the best video. I was trying to find out what each bit is designed for and stumbled on this. You basically went over the whole first cut setup…Thank you!!!
Hi just cut me first va2 blade with this machine. I cut too deep and made a whole in one spot 🙈. I watched a few vids and set the drill and follow exactly the same. How could be?
Hello, I hope you can answer me and help me, I have a DEFU 368A machine, which I have tried to make a Regatta key for an Opel Astra, for Regatta keys is it better to use a drill bit that is thinner than the hole? Well, I used a drill bit that is almost the width of the hole (groove), I managed to do it, but in the car, the key does not turn in the switch, it works perfectly to open and close the door but in the ignition, it goes in well but does not turn to start, I have seen this video and it is appreciated because there is nothing explanatory on the internet. I have seen the calibration on this machine done in several ways and it is not clear to me, thanks
@@marcosfernandez9895 the smaller cutter bit the better but it’s more fragile for cutting. You could break the cutter by not being careful . But with the smaller cutter bit, you get more accurate copy, you just need to cut it small area at the time . Make sure the key blade doesn’t wise sideways while cutting, that could make a different impression
@@808blackrock2 that’s almost the same cut as some of range rovers. I have couple video of those Check this out ruclips.net/video/C4AcMdGr2_I/видео.html
I'm looking for a machine and the auto ones, like the one you habe to your right seems to much for getting started. And tje defu is around 200 euro to my adress, should i get it? Is there other alternatives?
Most use cutter and tracer are either 1.5 or 2.0. 1.5 will be for fine detail cutitng but more chances to break easy if not use carefully. 2.0 will last longer but if your groves and cuts of the key is more detailed, might not get the actual cut. Of course , it’s all depends on what kind of key detail you are cutting

Nice video Bud, so with the xhorse do you do have a video..grove cutting a vehicle key?
I have plenty of video using Xhorse condor dolphin machine. What do you mean of “grove cutting a vehicle key”
2018 jeep wrangler SIP22 blades? In that area of type of keys. The cut is in the middle of the blade…

Is it possible to cut a key without a copy on the other side? When customer has lost all keys scenario. If not how to do it? With a defu that is.
Not with this machine
dapat eto na din ginagamit ng nila mr. quickie.. old school padin ata ung gamit nila

Can this cut regular Nissan nsn14 keys?
You can but with modification. Without mods, the bits will hit the metal clamps
@@autopurlieu yes I tried and the but was hitting the metal
I was thinking about changing the but with another one that came in the package I'm not sure which bit is for which key
