    You inspired me to try my hand at making vegan meats again, just in time for the wild inflation that’s hitting stores near me.     I made this last night after watching this video 18 times🤣. Don't think I wasn't scared! I am scared of spicy food so I eased back on the spices & I am now pretty convinced that Connie's spice measurements are spot on😆. I will be trying again this weekend & will follow the recipe to the letter this time. This is a really simple recipe to follow, but boy-howdy does the dough get stiff!!! Thank you, Connie!

    Thank you Connie you Rock as Usual! Can't wait to try this recipe. I use cooking muslin cloth to avoid the chemicals and aluminum. When I healed myself of bladder cancer using Gerson Therapy model I had to relearn how to cook. You were and still are my main go to for tasty vegan food :) Thank you for every video you put out. I still look at the old ones and I have many saved. Thank you so much.

    Will try this week, but my mouth is already watering. Please know that I have a lot of allergies and your recipes have given me great hope for new and inventive meals. I am very glad that you have returned after what is probably a well needed rest, as you give so much in your videos. Please do not heed the negative vibes of those who criticize your work. They say that an airplane needs a strong frontal wind to take off. So please take all of the "crap" that they are throwing at you and use it as fuel so that your great recipes and ideas will take off and take us with you!!! Your new fan, please keep up the great work!!!

    happy new ys connie love this recipe and your technique i will need to ty a vaiation today i made some of my homegrown collard grrens with cornmeal dumplings and a pinto bean chili with some diced seitasn my mom and i both enjoyed it

    Hi Connie - here's a beginner question here: how important are the parchment paper and the foil? If I don't care about the shape, can I steam the sausage in a heat resistant form? Is a lid necessary, or I can steam in a tray (inside the instant pot)?

      If yopu don't care about the shape I don't see why not. I know when you wrap them they become nice and firm like a sausage. Not sure about the form never used one

    Hello Connie, I reused the plastic cliplock bags over and over. But they aren't recycled and go to huge piles of landfill worldwide. I bought a hard plastic type of container for freezing salmon patties (that's the only "meat" I eat now) and other food. It holds 3 layers with parchment/grease proof paper between each layer. When I go to my daughter's home the frozen food will be put in a cooler bag/travel freezer. The plastic bags will eventually leach out the toxic chemicals in them. Not good for you 💖. Thank you for your dedication and your wonderfully inventive mind and recipes 👏🌈. Have a wonderful and peaceful Christmas and New Year 2023🎶🎄🎋🌈

    It seems like the vegan "store" sausages have changed their recipes. There is an odd unpleasant taste and texture .
    I'm a little worried about what we were eating.🥲
