It’s clear from the video that even you are not completely good at them, but you still made the video for us which is such an awesome thing to do. Thank you sooo much!
Yes! For that, you'll need a Sample Texture nodes, make a new texture, set that texture to Image or Movie (instead of clouds for example), import your texture, go back to your Sample Texture node, fill in the UVmap, then give it a result name (like he) and plug that into the Point Distribute's Density Attribute node. If you still wan't to make paths like I did in the tutorial you'll have to add up the attribute "Col" and the one you just made with an attribute math node, call the result whatever you want and then fill in the result's name into the Density Attribute. Make sure the attribute math is in front of the Point Distribute node.
@@temtor when you drop a viewer a gem and you don't even get a thank you. Thanks a lot for this tutorial btw, make understanding geometry nodes way easier
could you please go over the actual elimination effect because I've realised that there is a lot more than just geometry nodes, stuff like vertices, weight paint etc. Got really confused

yesssss
I don't really understand most of what you are doing, but I still found it fascinating to watch! lol
I think The point distribute node is now called “distribute points on faces”
True!
temtor is so big brain
I think you should made a new tutorial, because the new update change the name and function of a lot of the nodes
Thank you so much Temtor
Thank you temtor for this tutorial! But can you make one on how to only have the grass appear on certain textures?
