considering chicago's murder rate is much lower than red state cities, yes. there's a decent chance that's where those guns came from anyway. they aren't setting up machine shops to make guns in the hood. they're stealing them from gun nuts like you and bypassing background checks by doing private sales because of "rights" activists you like.
and before you even say it: virtually all cities are blue, cities are where society advances. 2, blue cities in a red state are still subject to the laws and regulations and "freedoms" that the red state imposes. it's just as easy to buy a gun in houston as it is in lake cherokee 3: land doesn't vote. there are more red voters in a "blue city" than in rural areas.
