- It's human nature to want to belong, and sometimes that urge can lead us to agree to do/say/be something we don't actually want. Mark Manson talks about how he was able to not only learn, but practice the skill of saying "No" at such a young age. Try it for yourself, it's harder than you might think!

The having to say yes during the come up really hit home. I've been DJing shows for 13 years and have just recently been able to say no to things. Keep up the grind and know your worth ✊
You mean drugs right?
I say no all the time and I’m one of the most unskilled people you’d ever meet.
Say “like” one more time.
Then little kids are skilled af
The fact tom is insightful and still have a wit the whole conversation proves comedic genius should be a degree
My girlfriend once told me I'm the only one who ever tells her "no". In a weird way it makes her respect me.
Man ain't simping, that's hawt :p
Just don't be a BEEEYTUUUH
Other ppl at her job probably tell her no all the time
Reverend Tim Tom hell yeah another video!!
Yo Mr.Tom Your Beat At The End Is Sick(:
Tom is probably talking about doing stand up for pro wrestling crowds.
Bring Tom talks back.
You are one of the funniest people I have ever seen 🤣
NO
NO AGAIN.
I AM A SKILLED NOMAN
Complete sentence. Nice! 👏
I'll take that back. But seriously he deserve a lot more attention.
The funniest thing about "no" is that it's the only word that shows up in the alphabet, yet it's the hardest to say. Especially when it comes to people and things you love
Not to be the alphabet police but...
Both "DEF" and "HI" are words in sequence in the alphabet as well.
Just saying.
Incase you didn't know.
Sounds like a Facebook meme.
What's the intro/outro beat??
It's like there's things in life where it's the idea or thought is better than the actual thing itself. Once you do it you may be left with regret and thinking to yourself "man I just spent way too much money on that.. I should of kept my money".
Is Tom Segura actually Garth Brooks??? Put a cowboy hat on Tom!
Hey tommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
According to my wife, "No" is my favorite word.
At what point do we stop gettin' asked and start doing the asking?
So, you should say NO to a Mclaren GT, when your wife doesn't know.
(Only because she should NEVER know that, until after the fact...)
You should’ve said no to having a wife
That's why I'm still single, and go whatever speed I want.
@@jer103 I misread that , I assumed you had a wife … your a smart man
The funniest thing Tom ever did was break his arm. He seems to love it when it happens to someone else
What about saying fck no or fck that lol
The chi of the world dies with everyone.
!
You’re only 42?
This guy?
I don't like to visit Cajun people I am allergic
My friend's two-year-old says "no" all the time.
I understand the purpose of assertion but the title of this video is like a Tony Robins' talk; it's complete bullshit.
You truly missed the point.. Gotta love RUclips comments..
@@Headsup9550 No, I get the point. I also get that Tom Talks is Tom talking to athletes and intellectual frauds. It's fine. I don't really care about a guy who can't decide which dying state he wants to live in. It's just funny to me when dumbasses pretend to be intelligent. It's adorable; the same way toddlers are.
Also the "RUclips comments" dismissal; not so bright. But keep trying.
@@randylahey5463 The point is 2 year olds don't know how to say no to the things their reptilian brain is already saying yes to.. You must be a lot of fun at parties bud
@@CatsAgainstCommunism Believe it or not; I am fun at parties. When I drink I'm like Bert. I just think Tom is smarter than he lets on and it's sad seeing him waste his show on boring ass guests when he could have seriously interesting people on. Tom Talks is the Joe Rogan Experience with more boring guests; and that says something. It says a lot, actually.
@@randylahey5463 Yeah him having those shark tank fuckers on as if they actually have anything interesting to say was awful. I think tom is smart but his producer or whoever is booking these guests obviously has no idea what makes for a truly intelligent or engaging interview. He should do a little more digging and find some more authentic guests.
