Strange how the mouse goes quieter, calmer and almost like it's seeking the cat's protection at 1:36 It's like it doesn't understand what's happening anymore. Is the cat playing with me? Am I a prey, a toy, a playmate? Maybe it's even misinterpreting some of its behaviour for a paternal/maternal one (being carried by the neck, sniffed and licked). Just imagine being slowly killed by something that weirdly feels like a hunter a playmate and a parent all at the same time. Also that out-of-place grooming 2:20 feels a bit like a last ditch stress-relief behaviour.
You can tell that they're young and inexperienced cats. An older cat would have crippled the mouse and would have started eating it by the end of the video head first.

I thought it was a thief wanting to break the window, but it was the rat!, It was so terrifying to hear that loud sound at 2 am in sheer darkness, let alone that am still scared about the incident. I didnt know rats were capable of doing that, now i suspect this creature had toxoplasmosis which makes it even more dangerous and extremely bold. I'd daresay this friging rat should be charged with vandalism lol

The white and black kitten is softer, so the rat tried to intimidate her. Not so with the all black one, a natural hunter. The rat got real quiet.
